The producer of ELIMINATE: http://www.cplumm.com/main If you take a look at his former projects ELIMINATE is destined to become AWESOME!!!!!
It's definitely coming out October 1st. It says 16 hours on the last timer, and plus, it says it's coming out in october. I know I'll be right. It's comin out Oct. 1st!
That's what you would normally expect ... I would be happy to hear the final release date on the first of October instead and get some more infos :9
I honestly cannot imagine it to happen so soon. As already discussed here they are most likely still bugfixing and finetuning. They will definitely come up with more info tomorrow but that's it. On the website of the producer Chris Plummer you will find his phone#. Maybe someone can give him a call and let us know, so we can all have a good rest until its out
Eeeeek!!! I didn't relized teh final video will b up zo zoon! I hope the game is released tomorrow at 8:00 AM!!! At the, same. time. as. the VIDEO!!!
I don't think it is going to happen quite this soon either. I was only playing the game a few weeks ago, and it wasn't quite done yet then. Assuming they finished it within a week and submitted it to Apple already (which I find very unlikely), they still wouldn't be able to promise a release date this soon. If I had to guess a release date, I'd say end of October. Controls are excellent, especially with autofire. If you've ever played Dropship, you'll feel right at home here. If you haven't, it is free and you should.
Have you played gameloft's Modern Combat before? If you do could you kindly comment on the comparison of control scheme that is being used in these two games? Cause personally I think gameloft nailed the control in Modern Combat and was hoping Eliminate would feature similar control scheme (i.e touch and drag to view, rather than a virtual thumb stick).
I've played Modern Combat, and I think the control schemes are about equal. They both have strengths and weaknesses. Modern Combat definitely benefits from the touch and drag view system and from having a dedicated reload button. On the other hand, Eliminate's virtual sticks feel tighter than the one in MC, and the autofire function is better than the shooting circle in MC. They aren't particularly different overall, and you should be able to adjust from one to the other without any difficulty.
Woah thanks for the quick reply! Btw it's now showing another 13hrs timer... Hopefully it's coming out soon!
No problem - I've subscribed to this thread, and I happened to be sitting at the computer with nothing to do when I got the email You can see what looks to be a Plus+ logo faded to the bottom left of that scrambled section, so I'm guessing that they'll be posting more details about the online parts of the game tomorrow.
I thought they changed the control scheme to joystick for movement, swipe to aim, single tap to fire once, double tap to fire continuosly
