No. You earn them by killing enemies and picking them up but only if you have energy and you can buy energy packs if you want more but it refills itself every 90 minutes.
ok so lemme get this right your energy fills every 90 mins and you get credits and exp only if you have energy? and if you dont have energy you get nothing but you can still play online?

I think credits ARE your exp, or maybe you use credits to buy level ups but I don't think it works that way.
Experience is your total credits earned. So let's just say after 5 matches you earn 1000 credits. You also have 1000 exp. If you spend 500 on upgrades you then have 500 credits left but still 1000 exp
Anyone know if there will be ensignas showing your rank when u play online? Something like halo, cod, or rainbow six? Or will it just be a number? If u haven't added me on plus u should cuz I'm famous now. I'm 23rd in a lvl pack in iblast moki. Sry just had to let that out. I'm done bragging.
Your total credits earned (ignoring purchases made) counts as your experience. You also use credits to buy things, but this has no effect on your experience.

Not sure what you mean by that. I'm pretty sure it changes color based on whether or not you're on top of an enemy, but i don't think it does a whole lot more than that.
