Since the quality of posts on the Eliminate thread has gone completely downhill since the announcement that it would be free, I sadly decided to remove myself from the thread that had me join the TA forums in the first place. but to kill time, be sure to add me to plus+ (Ducayne) and don't hesitate to send me some challenges!
I saw the eliminate trailer and saw that when you get KO'd, you see a +5 credit popup. Does this just mean the bonus credits they dropped or did that actually mean you got the credits when you die? If this is true, if you're not energized, you still get credits when you get KO'd?
It is unfortunate, the lack of maturity some people seem to have. It is just selfishness - they don't care about anyone but themselves, and if they're having a conversation, nobody is going to stop them. That just means all of the people who actually have questions and interests about the game have nowhere to go, because they get buried by garbage. The moderation team on this site doesn't seem to have any idea what they're doing, either, since nobody ever steps in and says anything. I've already got you in Plus+
When anyone dies, their body explodes in bonus credits. Anyone can pick up those credits, no matter if they were the killer or not. It is important to point out that these credits do not detract from the person dying. They don't actually lose credits, even though it looks like they are dropping them. The credits are just an extra bonus. I'm reasonably sure that is the only assist you get if you're not the person who actually makes the kill. You get to pick up the credits, but nothing else.
Ahh, I understand you now. I'm not actually sure on this point. I don't remember if it was there when I played, but even if it wasn't, they might have added it since.
I knew that you don't lose credits when you die even though it looks like you drop them. I just had a little misunderstanding about the video when the +5 credit popup appeared when the stick figure got KO'd.
Energy acts as an entry fee to get into the match. If you don't have enough energy to play a match, you're still allowed in, but you don't earn credits. I am pretty sure that is the only way to lose energy.
Ahh, well I don't think you gain credits unless you actually do the kill. Which video were you talking about?
No, matches do not cost a single credit to play. They only cost energy. In fact, you're guaranteed to earn a minimum amount of credits for just playing a match.
so in order to enter a match and earn credits you need to do the requirements? like give the amount of energy needed? does the energy waste in one match?
The video that was acting as a presentation of the arena to the "employees". You'll see 2 stick figures, 1 shooting the other while the pwner gets a big credit bonus and the pwned has a +5 credits above.
