Not quite sure what you mean. The game hasn't been cancelled. In fact, it is most likely less than 3 weeks away. There was never any expectation that the game would be released today

You can't really promise a release date for an iPhone game - there are too many variables with Apple's approval process. Follow the ngmoco twitter if you want the latest updates
I know The nices info would be a countdown until submission. Then it's just out of their control so nobody will ever blame ng.
Soooo.... the only new info I got from this was about the skins. From a marketing standpoint, I'm confused as to why they have these countdown timers for old info that has already been released through various sources (the ngmoshow, press releases, site previews, and the various game conferences, expos, etc.) Why wouldn't they just have ended the timers a few weeks ago when all the game info was already out there? Hmmmm.....I'm assuming the timers are to signify it being submitted.
