I never go in the "iPhone and iPod Touch Apps" forum so I'm not 100% sure if it's strictly release threads or we can ask general questions n' shizz... anyway... Has anyone bought/found any good pixel art apps? I'm quite into art/drawing but so far every paint app I've found on the iPhone it simply too fiddly for me to really get anything good done. I was thinking a pixel art app would fix this since I'd be drawing in pre-defined squares one pixel at a time so mistakes would be easy to fix. Preferably an app with zoom since aiming at a single pixel is probably not very easy... and maybe with a grid too for ease of use. The only app that's really caught my eye so far is "Tiny Pixels" which seems to do just about everything I want but I figured I'd ask before I buy it. Anyone?
i've been pixeling for more than 10 years and I'll tell you that the program doesn't matter, you just need to practice. mspaint is great for pixeling, if you have a mac, try pixen.
I think he meant for the iPhone... EDIT: I just looked at tiny pixels and it seems to fit your bill and, I think, would also be pretty compatible with animal crossing wild world/mario kart art - ish sites
