help? I am using a iPod 4th gen running on the iOS 4.2.1. And for some reason, when I try to start the game, it shows the Popcap logo and crashed to my springboard. Help?
If you just got the game, I'm sure just a restart will be needed. Still such a great game...and really GREAT on the iPad!
I'm not sure what's up with Popcap games, but I always just encounter a random crashing issue with their games, and after a while they just fix themselves. This has happened with every single one of their games (and I own all of them), and it's really weird. The game will just start randomly crashing on the logo screen for a couple days, and then it'll work perfectly after. Hopefully that's your case as well.
SCREW YOU ALL, what PvZ REALLY needs is the multiplayer mode present in the XBLA and DS versions of the game. Come one, PopCap, the DS gets a multiplayer mode and we don't?!
Why can't you all just meet the fact that PvZ will never get updated. Even without multiplayer or Gamecenter, its still an amazing game. So get over it, and praise them for what they have done, and not hate them for what they haven't.
I agree. For a smaller developer, their income stream might not warrant the extra time to create updates, but PvZ has held a relatively high spot on the App Store for a long time. While new content updates would be nice, I don't expect them to be handed to us, especially for free. But, I don't think it's unreasonable to want Popcap to at least update their games to be compatible with the latest stuff like GC and retina displays. The higher res sprites are already there in the PC and iPad versions of the game, after all.
Not warrant extra time? PvZ was like the only game that stayed top 25 during this whole holiday season without dropping it's price >.<
^ After re-reading my post, I realized that I didn't quite word it correctly. I was referring to small devs that consist of 1 or 2-man teams. I don't see Popcap as "small" at all. They've been making games for many years now, and they have a huge library of games. What I meant to say was, given the success that PvZ has had, and the resources of Popcap, the least they could do is keep their games up-to-date with the latest technology.
Wha?! Why the sudden outburst from people about an update!? So spontaneous... Although it really wouldn't go amiss. I'd quite like to play multiplayer or endless mode just to keep me coming back more. ATM, I barely get to use my best plants as I run out of rounds.
