    Two Questions

After spending so much time & effort cursing the overwhelming number of new breeds up to level 32, I'm now realizing the upside in Request Frogs. My current Hennae is almost through its breeding cycle & is worth a stunning 45 potions. Has anyone had a Request Frog for an Emblema or Fortuno &, if so, how many potions/stamps do they garner?

I recall how once, eons ago, someone well above my level claimed to have found about that many in a day just hopping in the pond. With the much higher levels of many players here, I wonder what everyone else's max/day haul of stamps or potions from the pond is. Anyone?

p.s. Huge thanks for the many super froggies I've been gifted recently:to Martin for the 2 Hennae & Emblema, dlstar for the Gyrus, Snappy for the Botulus & Signum, Maholah for the Levar, & Andi for the Frondis.

I have had a FAVUS for 42 potions. I kept a list of my request frogs for a couple of weeks, but then lost interest. Without a written record, I can't even remember my previous request!

Again, no way to know a daily total. But I distinctly remember finding successive gifts containing 15 stamps or 15 potions - while hopping lowly ANURAs around the pond. So that is easily more than 30 with a single frog! I tend to keep Anuras in the pond long after maturity because of this. The big bonus presents will occur after I find one containing a small number of coins. Of course, there is no guarantee,, but it has happened enough that I always let my Anuras frolick a while after finding the first present!

    Take care.

    Request Frogs

Hi Lisianne, I haven't come across an Emblema or Fortuno as a Request Frog yet. The best three requests since the new group of frogs came out - a White Ceres Fractus worth 45 stamps, like yourself an Orange Tingo Hennae for 45 potions, and a Pink Caelus Foramen for 46 potions! Hoping to get at least one Emblema or Fortuno request just to see what it is worth. :)

Me again. Since my last post, I have been taming some Anuras (about 25 or so) and I have some new statistics for you. I found the following Stamp presents ( and no potions!): 10 + 11 + 16 + 2 + 17. 56 stamps in less than 1 hour!

THEORY: when I breed blues, the base frog is always blue-albeo, so I end up with a high percentage of my failures as blue-albeo Anuras. If I have the patience, I will tame the Anuras hoping to find valuable presents in the pond. 'Me thinks' the software is tracking how long a frog is in the pond and ratchets up the gifts as the time increases. And maybe my string of Anuras may appear as a long (or repeated) run in the pond of a single frog. Valid assumption?

I still have 4 more blue Ingeous to go and I'll probably end up with at least 15 more Anuras to tame. I'll update my findings after dinner this evening.

update wow, I only ended up with 2 additional Anuras to complete the blue Igneous! But I was able to find an S&P gift with each one: 17 potions and 1 stamp. Note: not all days are this fruitful.

    Take care.

I'm going to preface this with the fact that I spend A LOT of time in the pond. Every frog I breed or goes through my mail box gets tamed in my hunt for presents and experience points. I will hop a tamed frog when half paying attention to the TV just for presents. And I'm super thrifty on using stamps and potions.

Err, at least a hundred of each on a good day. Maybe more.

I will note that according to game center, out of the 16 people I'm friends with I'm number 6 in presents, but everyone but 2 people are leveled higher than I. I think that just means I have no other life than school, PF and my long suffering boyfriend.

Thanks to JoshDubrau I believe for an Igneous and Dlstar for the many Gyrus. If I ever index Gyrus and Marinus, that is going to be incredibly easy, thanks to you, Dlstar! ; )

    Thanks!

Poetry and psychoanalysis? Whew! I cannot even imagine where youjr research led you on that topic.

Alas, I must go get a job soon. I suspect I won't have time to hop frogs in the morning over coffee and think deep thoughts before doing school stuff.

Anyone still need last weeks set?

    Will keep it till tomorrow...

Do you think that the devs still play PF? Or is that like working at McDonalds and not being able to eat it?

If you still have the set available, I'd love to have it. I'm a low level player who could really use some potions and stamps!

    20% ?

Just reached 20% in the Froggydex with 7,007 frogs. So technically it is just over 19%, but I'm not going to argue the point!

    7,007/36,800 = 19.04076%

    .20 x 36,800 = 7360

That is a sustantial difference, and rounding can't account for that extra 1%. Okay, maybe a little arguing. Am I missing something here?

    Take care.

Yeah dex always reads 1% ahead, as soon as you passed 19.00% it went to 20%. In PF lingo some of us would refer to this as "fake 20%" :).

I noticed that when I first started playing ..... the dex % rounds up by almost 1% .... So does that mean if someone reaches lets say about 36 450 frogs it will show 100% ??? Anyone out there who has got that far?

I still have the Road Signs set. Haven't managed to tame them yet, but will if there is a receiver. :)
