I have just sent out all my gifts and come on here and see people aren't getting them? Oh no! I sent multiples to all my list of friends...I hope they show up.
Missing Frogs I hope they fix it too! I've sent my second device Level 32 frogs for Weekly Set and I can't proceed on sets on that device until they arrive. I know, poor me? . I sent 2 sets before I figured out it was the update. For some reason I can only Friend myself on the second device. So no one else can help me. Be sure to let me know your needs when this is fixed. I haven't been on this forum for over a year. I'll be happy to help when I can. AKA HOWDY/DOEMINI on Game Center.
I sent my wife the two Fortunos for the last set yesterday and she still hasn't received them, and we had both done the update, so yeah, something's wrong.
Well I deleted PF and then put the old version back in and I'm receiving gifts again. I won't know for a while if the ones sent today will make it through but I'll let you all know. On a more depressing note though, I lost my set redemption and I've already sold the bloody frogs.

Nothing received by me either. I was hoping that when I updated and lost Maholah present that it was just a problem with the queue as I posted. Looks like we have a bigger problem. Thanks to Quossum, Nifty, iluvjae and Snappy for the gifts before the problem started. I got the started set from Snappy and will have it ready for gifting in a couple of days if someone needs it. I also have a Pingo for Cetacea when they get this problem fixed.
My Update Lessons Having been burned a number of times with updates to apps I used a lot or highly valued for other reasons, I've learned two things: 1) Back up the iDevice prior to updating & copy & save the app *.ipa in a separate folder. Sometimes problems don't rear their ugly heads until days later. I found it's easier to replace an .ipa than to go to a previous backup which may affect other apps & alter personal data. 2) Don't rush to update. Even with the prior update with a gazillion new frogs, I did backup & I did wait until *many* people from this forum had said it was fine, no prob, then I updated. Hindsight is 20/20 but this isn't hindsight on my part but merely the result of the frustration I've felt in the past, fruitless problem-solving/testing on my part when I was the first on my block to update. Fortunately, this is a widespread problem. I say "fortunately" because if it only hit selected older devices, say, maybe NB wouldn't be so "nimble" in acknowledging & hopefully addressing it. And I would HOPE in the future that NB would give a good "heads up!" to people with older devices if their game were to be "timed out" by an upcoming update (e.g. devices which can't handle the next iOS) so they could prepare. The company has twice left players twisting in the wind, most recently with the changeover to GC. Anyway, I was too lazy to backup yesterday so I didn't update. Just now backed up. Will obviously wait to update. p.s.: Thanks so much to Martin for the Axis & Mal for the Fortuno.
I have already redeemed it. Though sounds like you best wait to send it to anyone since things aren't working. I sent out Caronas to people on my list yesterday but now I wonder if they aren't lost in space.
just to clarify to everyone- I am not level 41 I am level 12. for some reason there is a glitch in my game that makes me show up with the same frogs as nirtew. I don't know what's causing this and I'm really sorry#
Bonding through mutual experience of bugs ... good times . I can't help updating. I would rather be on the bleeding edge with bugs than be behind. Like waiting up until 2:30am to install OS X Lion - that would have to be the worst example - that OS drove me to Windows full time! I also hate having the number badge on the icon - the new one for free stuff in pro shop is really annoying me as I can't get it to go away! Temple Run 2 has the same thing; no I won't like it on Facebook or follow it on Twitter, I don't use the damn things, now get that number badge away! Rant over. Looking forward to getting some gifts again. Maybe this was overfixing the gift duplication issue ?
I think you can turn that off under Settings > Notifications > Pocket Frogs Then just turn off everything blue.
