Good morning! We saw the new Star Trek movie last night - thumbs up! Lots of references/tie ins to the original series, which made me a little nostalgic for my childhood, but it still stands nicely on its own, for those who didn't grow up with it. So crazy, busy yesterday that I came home after a long day, changed, brushed teeth, & fell asleep within a minute. In real life, that's good, but in the virtual world it meant that I had the chance to gift all or part of my Fractals Set to someone yesterday but didn't find out until just now. Seems like all the usual suspects have already bred or been gifted the Set. Thus I'll be keeping them another day just in case before I random gift to others to do as they see fit. If you want/need the set (or any part of it), know that I won't be checking this forum again until tonight. Then again, tomorrow morning. Re promo videos: For the most part, I'm impressed by the background music of these short clips. I have a good question! What do you guys think is the ugliest/prettiest color combination? I think the ugliest are blue ceres and red ceres and the prettiest are glass/beige calliana and viola. i want to know you guys's opinions! also thanks to yasha for the other half of the set, domenic, Ella, dean, and anyone else who sent me gifts. y'all are the best! domenic- I don't know what happened to the other half of the set- must have gotten lost in cyberspace# paranormal frogs...# but thanks for the first half! I don't know what I would do for sets without you.
Thanks Cetacea30, thats a good idea. Ill do that from now on. I swear there a five year olds with more tech savvy ill ever possess. And i know pretty much everyone has gotten the weekly set, but i would love to have one, if anyone has an extra!
I love Tangelo/Viola. Something about that color combo is so pretty and lively. Ugliest? Probably Olive/Bruna or Olive/Cafea. Just looks muddy to me. Ugliest Frog: Lanterna Prettiest Frog: Ornatus. Though I have great fondness for Stellata & Aceris. Coolest frog: Skeletos! I love to watch it jump in the pond like a dancing skeleton.
Weekend away from internets and cell reception .. and also forgot my charger so no frogging either! This morning almost finished off the Axis of evil part of my double, except I was left with a series of 1/8 breeds with a golden tingo palma ... stupid double organisation effort. Also not helped by Azure Bruna Axis taking 42, count them, 42 breed attempts for a 1/8. New record! Never again a double.
Mandelbrot love Being especially fond of fractals, my favorite is the FRACTUS. But because of the way the colors blend/merge my favorite prior to the update was the INSERO followed closely now by the NEBULA. My least favorite is the HENNAE, because the pattern is not easily discernible, and the secondary color too diluted in most combinations. The ugliest is the LANTERNA followed closely by the PISTRIX. Back to your original question... My favorite color combo is Blue/Albeo - wonder why! Not the prettiest, just my favorite. I like the Chroma frogs, especially in Black or Glass. So sue me if chroma (or glass) isn't a color. I can't identify the ugliest combo because I don't keep them long enough to know what the colors actually are! Take care. Mal p.s.
