I didn't think about the racing trick until yesterday. But I'm working on the awards list once more so I tend to stick to the Anura trick for specific colors.

None of us should need to apologize for an absence here, whatever the reason. I know you care deeply about this forum & love PF but real life trumps everything. Meanwhile, I was thinking about why people drop off the radar screen. Maybe it's a real life thing (a job, family life, a book, etc.), maybe boredom, maybe when the game gets harder/levels more difficult to attain, it loses its initial luster & just becomes a grind, maybe people find another game which, in its early stages, is giving them more bang for the buck. Maybe something else like a shifting group of players which, while necessary for growth & sustainability, lacks the inherent coherence of a consistent group. Maybe some or none of the above. Starter sets sent to Quossum and Miamare. I made it to level 38 today when breeding an Anura to a Royal Emblema! When I finish them I will work on an lower-level breed. Perhaps I typed a portion of yesterday's message too hastily. I bred an anura to an Emblema four times and the improbable (in my experience) occurred, all Emblema eggs. If the probability is 1/2 for an Emblema, for all four to be should be (1/2 ^ 4 or a 6.25% chance.) May your labor be short & relatively painless. I have a sneaking suspicion, judging from my recent experiences with a newborn, that you may have less time & energy (can you say "lack of sleep?") for PF than you anticipate. Congrats on your new level!! Personally, I refuse to delete you. We've traded for so long that the thought of doing so at this point doesn't sit well with me. You say, "a couple of years" but I'm hoping against hope that you'll manage to come back sooner. Snappy, I got most of my veru/magus and fortune/emblema, as well as quite a few more via racing (currently at 73% with very little dexing of the "new" releases), and I never even noticed the XP for munching the large flies. There's no real way to influence that, of course, but it's interesting. (Because I gain a lot through racing, I haven't paid as much attention to the XP which is perhaps why I hadn't noticed.) Thanks for mentioning it. Lisi: Re: MartiNZ-- I had thought it was Martin; then as I was catching up on forum posts, I've seen him/her referred to as "Marti"; upon looking at something else in GC, I'm back to "Martin." The confusion of user names, I suppose. Lisi: Re: Racing--Somewhere in my catching up, you had mentioned that your racers were getting tired and not winning as often. When that happens, try letting them hop around in the pond for a bit. It seems to perk them up. (Also, only a few races per day per frog helps, but I'm sure you already know that.) And many thanks to Lisi, Andi, Jklau, Heeranc and Quossum for the frogs! If anyone wants a trading friend, feel free to add me to your list. I am sometimes a little slow at reciprocating, but I do get there. It's often about the frogs' cooperation: They often have to win a race for me to have frogs to gift.
Hey Maholah, I'll add you as a friend. If you have a minute (does not take more than that), please fill the spreadsheet in my signature (the form link). I am breeding V1 and V2 frogs at the same time and I send V1 frogs only to peoples who fill the form but I often send several at the same time. Also it is easier for other to know what to send you.
Gosh, leave you guys alone for a few days and look what happens . Sets and gifts and usernames oh my ! I've been experiencing shocking odds with Planeta. I think a new record for me was one of them taking 32 attempts in a 1 in 4 situation! Then I ended up with 38 copies of the red folium in my habs in the process of filling them until I ran out of coins as is my wont. This time around, 21 aqua pruni. They are at the expensive end of the breed, that's why I ended up keeping them, but it's still quite impressive as a statistic. Just 28 Planeta to go and then, I think, Igneous is bliss. That will be my 24th breed dexing of the 47 new ones in v2, and will give me another run of 3 consecutive in the dex - after that, coclearis and mustacium will complete fully 10 in a row! Madness that there still seems so far to go, but we'll get there . Thanks for all recent gift frogs that have found their way to me. Cheers, Martin
