Chromas Breeding a Chroma seems to be allotted by NB purely on a random basis, but is fixed and doesn't vary with time. ie a chroma breeding pair always breeds a chroma. I suppose I should have noted down all the combos #

So have you come across this? I raced a Pink Caelus Insero with another just like it, I won first with no boosts and it came in fourth. They should both have the same specs so I would think it'd be neck and neck. Yet it's not, I'm baffled. (The picture may or may not show up)
Yes, I have raced many frogs and have noticed as you did that occasionally your frog will compete against its twin. Sometimes you will win the race and other times not. It seems to be completely random, but if your frog doesn't eat very many flies it will usually be too slow to catch up to the other frogs if it falls behind. I can't remember the exact frogs which this occurred. Next time I notice it I will report it in my next post. Thanks to Dom for seven Levars! and anyone else who sent gifts recently. I have deleted from 28 up, but the rest are ready to send. I don't need any frogs in return, unless you are also getting sets and we could cooperate. The logistics of sending 10 sets is tricky - do you have enough stamps? And when should I start?

I think you better sell them then. I am at set 31 so it mean I would need to first do set 28 to 31 or else my habs will be too full. Unfortunately, I don't have time to make them fast and I don't want you to keep the others until I am ready so don't worry and sell them instead. I'll work on them later when I'll have more time. Can you mail me all the 2014 Sets which eventually will be past Sets? They DO mean something. As I recall, as Snappy said, they don't always win but at least you rarely lose money on the race. Yes, you may add me, my GC name is the same as my screen name. Because I am several weeks being on my MB, I may not reciprocate very quickly. Since I do send gifts randomly from time to time, you may receive what appears to be a level 24 for a level 30 frog or vice versa. I should clarify my last post. I should have referred to the frogs that you race against are random (to a point, eventually they reappear after a fashion.) When racing a frog with good speed and stamina, your chances of winning will be greater, though occasionally good frogs will lose a race. Lisi is right, that if you race the same frog twice in a row, you will likely lose. That is why I have so many different racers in my habs. Even if they don't compete with any new frogs, I can at least opt to collect the coin prize. Also, I find that if you use the potion boost strategically, it will help minimize losses (Maholah's tip to boost if less than 80% comes to mind.)
