Thank you all whom have sent frogs recently, especially Dom for the Fractus which helped me obtain the Lightbulb set. I thought my GC was already in my signature, but I guess I'll be checking that again. x3 Let me know if any of you need the set or additional help, I'll lend a hand as I can. Take care and have a great day. :D

I've got week 16/2012 Planet Earth in my habs right now, and Cetacea just sent me week 15/2012 Tribal Council. I think she still needs week 14/2012 Easter Eggs. I also need that set and everything past that.

Anyone else out there who would like to take either of these sets off my hands, please let me know!

Must thank you again, JonSwan, for breeding all these sets. I will be deeply impressed if you're able to breed all of 2011 in a single week.

Wow, you're the person who began this incredibly long thread! You left before I even arrived.

Still, to address your question. Originally, even before I came here, there were "promotional" frogs (e.g. Lanterna, Glacio) offered at specific times. They didn't "cost" anything except d/ling an app or merely appearing for a holiday (or so I read), like the "Lanterna". There haven't been any "special events" in a very long time so you wouldn't have received any offers.

With a later updates, these "promotional frogs" blended in & became "frogs for 25 potions" in the FrogMart which included an addition of some 10 frogs (e.g. Bulbus, Trivium) at the time. These 10 frogs could NOT be found in the pond but only purchased with "potions".

With the most recent major update which included some 47 new frogs, the 47 COULD be found in the pond but ALSO purchased with potions. The problem with this, IMO, was that blending all these frogs together meant one might have to wait a loooong time before the frog one needed was available for purchase!

    Does this help, starmonkey101?

Currrently, if you want a frog you don't have, many generous people here in the forum would be happy to oblige. Just ask.

p.s.: Thanks to Snappy for the Fractus, Pistrix, & Fortuno, Maholah for the Fortuno, Quo for the Skeletos, green for the Foramen, & Madmaze for the Favus.

Good idea, although it doesn't see much activity. Most of the Mobage friends I have are low level random adds - they added me. I sent everyone a Signum and/or Lanterna to see who's going to be active, had a few reply gifts so I can pass on some id's if you like.

I finally sent you the Frog Rock starter yesterday, have a very light week at work this week, so I'm going to sew new slipcovers for my lounge cushions, and do housework, and watch all the recorded episodes of Continuum that I have sitting on my hard drive :D:D

    Taming

I've been trying to perfect my fly-catching technique, and just timed the taming of a Fortuno at 3 minutes.

Does anybody know how long they take?

Yikes! That takes so long! As much as I love getting up in the upper levels for the mass amount of coin I'm garnering, it takes way too long to tame these babies. I'm not quite at Fortuno level yet so I can't say how long that takes, though.

That's the only thing I can say is a positive about the android version, it's way easier to eat 2-3 flies at once. Makes taming much faster. Also there's no <1 when you're taming. You go from 1 to tamed w/no intermediary step.

Thank you for the Frog Rockers, dlstar!

Thank you for the flock of frogs, JonSwan!

I've been neglecting my frogs for my art-ahh! I'm working on a drawing of a frog in the pond; I think I want it to be a violet Callaina, just not sure what breed yet. any suggestions?
thanks to everyone that has sent me frogs! almost done with marinus and crustalli, and halfway through mustaciums, so any mustaciums would be helpful c:

Does anybody want a starter set for back set 35 Frog Rock?

:D been catching up on missed sets. 0.1.0 :)

Also yes, been taming frogs only when I need to, and ignore the longest to tame ones as much as possible :/

Those are some nifty creations, I haven't thought about making sets of my own but it's cool to see someone else is. :3 Would you mind if I added you? Hope to see more work in the future, way to use the game for a different experience.

This week's "Rainbolt" set is by far one of the easiest I have completed in a long time. I have any and all available for the asking.

    Hi all,
    Finally finished my levars!!!
If anyone wants to play a mini-guessing game, if someone guesses the last color set I finished, the color set is yours! =) If no one wants to play, it will go to a random friend in several days - just PM with your guess
Also, I have the lightbulb set if anyone else is behind
and the past sets of "honeycomb" and "wet paint"
Thanks for all the frogs from everyone, including the voltas from rquilt
