I am always so impressed by how many other pocket frog fans there are! We need more games like this!

Berlin was great, my first visit. Highlights were the dome of the Reichstag and Bruckner 9 with Zubin Mehta at the Philharmonie.
    And I got to 50!!!

What to do now that there are no new weekly sets

So, since we are all wondering what to do now that there are no new sets to worry about, I thought I might make up a new set each week and offer a prize to the first couple of froggers who make the set.
The first of these sets will be announced here next Thursday, I think. I hope to have a new set for you each Thursday. So... How will we know if the first person who says they made the set really did? I was thinking that once the person posts here that they have completed the set, they could take a screen shot and put it as their GC photo. Any other ideas? Is there a way to post pics here? Viewing neighbors' habitats does not work for all players.
Details need to be figured out. If you want to play along and perhaps win the prize, add me on GC.

I would like to support you with the sets! I have already seen pictures posted at this forum but I don't know how to do it exactly...

Hm. Might be interesting, but getting frogs fastest doesn't seem like the right emphasis. . .it just means using potions/stamps fastest, which I don't use if I can avoid it by being patient. As far as proving the set is complete, maybe they should gift you the frogs to prove they have them?

Maybe, at least for those of us that haven't finished all the sets. . .if we were able to complete your set, we could get a starter set for the set we currently are working on as a reward?

We will need to figure out the details. I think sending me the set as proof would be a waste of stamps. Also, we want this to be fun, but giving out prizes to everybody who makes the set could be undoable. Of course it may be fun for everybody to see if they can make the sets, or to just figure out what the frogs in the set represent...

Yes, you are right that using potions etc. to get done first is not the best thing. So perhaps we will give a deadline of a few days or so. Then offer a prize (maybe a high level frog or something) to sixteen people. Giving a smaller prize like this allows more people to win. And isn't making the set the fun part really?
    Any comments?

    Vivilion, just a suggestion here.

I remember a little while back there was a member, I forget who, who would make thier own set with the theme being frogs that represent the flag/colors of a certain city and country. Like I said I forget who it was, but he/she was traveling on business and where he/she was would create a set and have people guess where they were. The first person to get the city and country correct would be rewarded with lets say 8-16 frogs of their choosing.

Maybe you can do something along the lines of that?

I would suggest the fastest racing frog of a level or something like that for the first 8-16 people who finish the set. And I also would prefer a week for finishing the set.
Otherwise Vivilion and me would have to 'store' the price-frogs forever, what would prevent us from providing the next sets or frog-prices.

Yes, Froeschi and I are in agreement. The main point of this is for all of us to have fun. I think a week sounds good. So the "current challenge" will end as the new one begins. So, next Thursday we will announce the first new set.

If you make a new post, there are several buttons beneath the box where you put your text into.
Take a look at 'Additional Options': there you can tap on 'Manage Attachments'.
Then you can upload a picture ( a screenshot you made from the frogset), after finishing uploading tap on 'close window'.
Then you can tap on 'submit reply' like you always do.

I'm with-ish you. I like the sets, but making them is expensive for me because I keep very few adult frogs. I use my habs as cash crop areas. (Sounds a bit brutal, poor little froggies)

    But all power to you
    And thanks for the........................
