Welcome!!! There are about half a dozen Android players in TA1 ... hope you're able to hook up with them ... it's much more interesting to see friends on the leaderboard instead of blank spaces.
I haven't even looked at the next event yet .... .... oooooh!!!! coool !!!! .... the C-130 flies the same route as my Sequoias but holds 2 less, which makes the Sequoia a better plane, however I like to devote my C-130 to specific tasks and the different appearance of the plane makes it easy to spot it quickly on the planes list ... so I wouldn't mind having another one. I probably could have done better with the Boston event. It's really tough when I also have a midnight deadline in Mafia Wars, can't really juggle both at the same time.
Three people tied for first? Something weird going on on the server... Too bad we have no way of forcing a sync with NimbleBit's servers. Interesting rewards scheme, NimbleBit... And assuming it stays as a passenger only event (i.e. no mystery parts), that will prevent C-130s from being commonplace.
Surely NimbleBit is going to introduce some new planes to the game soon since they keep having full plane events for all the rare planes.

Anybody else thinking that Nimblebit are dropping a massive hint by a) giving away all the rare aircraft as prizes and b) having a developers convention in a californian town, when their headquarters are in California. I'm hoping that they are soon going to have some new planes coming through as the game needs freshening up a bit. Some new planes could lead to different strategies and new ways of playing the game which would be interesting
For a brief moment I will be in 1st for TA1. However, my moment in glory will end as soon as Gus, Penguin, and 'zoo wake up or Faye and Icon get off the message boards and start flying.

Passenger only event AND top prize is not a full plane so no mystery parts. I hope we come a comfortable second. I won't be doing much past 50 jobs for sure.
And GDC is next week in SF, NimbleBit's on schedule. Note their new game NimbleQuest is out at te same time, so I don't think we'll see an update for PP soon. They'll have to focus on tweaks and patches for NQ first I guess. And how disappointing but cunning to have a full plane event passenger only Edit : just noticed the #1 had only a c130 part an top10 a full plane! Way to go NB lol I guess we're all ok for TA1 to get the second place? Time to slack off a bit guys&gals Boston 2/2
Entered final job counts from your two screenshots into the spreadsheet. Given that the full plane prize is for Top 2-10 ... I wonder how what kind of lead TA will have in this event ... I imagine a smaller gap while most of their members do the bare minimum and some members jump ship.
It doesn't hold less, just the P/C ratio is 4/6 instead of 5/5...both hold 10 jobs I fly my C-130 as I would a Seq-M...even if it's just for the looks, Seq-M's get boring. I really wish there were mystery parts this event, but a guaranteed second C-130 is nice too Thanks for the screenshot #22 with 2007 Jobs was me...first time 2k jobs and not even top 20, participation really was high this event
It's great we succeed in having both Android and IOs players in our own leaderboards. Take that Apple and Google And yep, 2k jobs and not even in the top20 is I like the C130 but I find not seeing what's in it when scrolling on it is sometimes awkward
It does???? I've always had it in my mind that the C-130 held less. Simple arithmetic obviously isn't my thing. Yeah, I wouldn't mind having a second one. I think I like the C-130 more than the Concorde. My Concorde wanders around aimlessly.
This is a really tricky event to judge. I'm thinking we can't go all out to get the highest number of jobs, it only needs a few extra people to come over from other teams and we could be bumped to top team. I can't see this happening however as to make TA1 top team they would loose the chance to get the full plane prize. However we still need to do enough to stay in the top ten to get the full plane. Could be some interesting numbers for this event, no records to be broken I think.
Hello all, just took part in my first global event ever. (with TouchArcade Team, thanks for that!). Started playing a week ago. So, I got that starship now and it went into hangar. Does it always go like this? So even if I "win" a plane, I have to activate it with some bux? Or will it go directly to my fleet if I have a free slot there? Thanks!
Maybe we could exclude this event from MOFO, and everybody takes a well deserved break. Top10 shouldn't be a problem. What do you guys think?
