In a global event where the top prize is a full plane (not just a plane part), you will come across cargo with orange lettering called a Mystery Part. When you delivery the Mystery Part to the event city, you will receive one part (an engine, controls, or body) and the type of part will be whatever the top prize plane is. Mystery Part spawning is random but Nimblebit has said in the past the spawn rate is approximately 1/100 jobs.
LOL - lucky 7, or not...grrr a bad guy spawned right in front if me. Ok, did better than that...and just like the PP leader board looks like it will take time to catch up. Nimble Quest is interfering with my plane flying... LOL. Thinking we'll need a new thread for Nimble Quest
An I the only one who is puzzled about the past even t's prize for first place? I would much rather have a full plane then only a part and 10 bucks
Sorry to gloat but as a member of a none TA crew i'm loving my shiny new complete C-130. Nimblebit did the prizes like that, and have done similar before, because TA are pretty much always top and therefore always get the good prize that goes for 1st place, so they made it so the top crew got a lesser prize to make people consider changing groups and making the leaderboard a bit more competetive. If the players playing for TA had paid attention and not mindlessly done as many jobs as they could as normal it could have been a very interesting race trying not to get top spot but that never happened Am debating whether putting up a pic of my C-130 would be rubbing too much salt in the wound!!
Help Ok... I'm officially as of yesterday TA1. So nice to meet everyone. My GC is KitCloudKicker1. Add me I need friends. Also, I'd like to get parts to complete a Concorde (only hav engine) and a C-130 I (only have controls) if you would b willing to help my dreams come true that would b Great! Thanks for the help in advance y'all.
I recall a couple pages back that someone posted on how to land a plane while in the air; something to do with buying a costume for the pilot I believe... Anyone remember how that worked or the page number?
It was to upgrade ur plane during the flight. U buy a costume for the person flying the plane. While the plane is in flight go to the planes settings click left or right to change tyke character's clothes ( only Normal clothing will b available) once the clothes are changed go to costume and repurchase the same Outfit u did the 1st time. Then bam upgrade option for ur plane appears. It will cost 2bux altogether but could b worth it. Thanks to Roboroboto for the Concorde body now all I need is the controls
Since nearly all people which are active in this forum aren't in TA anymore but in TA1, yes, you are the only one as we got the whole plane for 4th place [Edit] whoops, I missed that there is a "next" page already and a few posts between...so I'm quite late for that answer Actually it's just 1 bux as you can apply the bought costume again for free after you bought it once ...and landing a plane mid-flight is entirely possible, it's called boosting and may cost quite some bux if it's full for a long flight or few to 1 for empty flights

Is it just me or is this game dieing off? Seems to me most of the regulars have faded away to either the blockheads or nimble quest. Tried nimble quest. Not much into it. I like PP because it doesn't require constant attention. Seems to me this community is dieing off though.
I'm worried about this as well. Anyone thats been playing for a while has all the planes, most of the achievements, and with no new content on the horizon, I too fear that PP will slowly die. A shame really, because this game ranks up there with some of the best games I've ever played. And ive been gaming since nintendo, I'm an ex warcraft addict, and current skyrim fiend SO much could be added to pocket planes, from new aircraft, new destinations ( take passengers on a rocket to the moon for a huge profit!), deeper aircraft management such as maintenance, new animations such as takeoff/landing, etc. But as its been said many times before, its a F2P game, so what we got is what we got for the most part.
