Hi guys, sorry I haven't been on for a few months, I'm level 21 and its taking forever to get to level 22, any tips on levelling up fast. I have a blimp to trade if anyone wants.
I don't really understand the feeder and bux sitters and planes that take jobs from London to DC. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I'm playing the game all wrong and I need help. Please help me.
It means filling up the large class 3 planes in London or LA and dropping them off at the nearest class 3 airport (which is NY for this event). Then use class 2 planes to fly them from NY to DC. Rinse and repeat until your thumbs are tired. One thing I've learned recently is that it is very helpful to fly your class 2 planes round trip from NY to DC. That means flying them empty on the way back, but it is som much quicker and less you have to micromanage. That explanation is for events. For box sitting, you should look at the links in Faye Valentine's signature. That strategy is explained in detail.
Some of us mainly play the Global Events. The current one is Washington, D.C. What many of us do is have our big planes (cyclones, sequoias. etc) pick up DC jobs from various cities and drop them off in NY as layovers; they're feeding jobs to DC. Then we use Class 2 planes (since DC is a class 2/blue city) to pick up DC jobs in NY and deliver them to DC. I think most of us will use Aeroeagles to do the final delivery, however some may even use class 1 planes. Some hardcore players will devote 100% of their airplanes toward a Global Event AND restructure their airports/fleet for each Global Event to maximize job count. This is generally done by reducing the number of total airports so that more event jobs show up and keeping only a few airports close to the event city. Some people have gone as far as to keep only 2 or 3 cities open for an event. I wouldn't recommend a complete restructuring every 3.5 days at your level since it costs quite a bit of coins/bux to do this. Your focus at this time should be on coin/bux growth. Bux Sitting is keeping planes grounded in (usually) class 3/red cities with the sole purpose of picking up Bux only jobs. Once they are mostly full, they may swap places with their sister city or fly to a "hub" where the bux jobs are pooled together and resorted for delivery. There are various approaches to bux sitting. Some of us forgo bux sitting (it's monotonous, not very fun) and incorporate it into working the Global Event by having the big feeder planes pick up both Bux jobs and Event jobs only. Bux jobs are pooled in the layover city where the big planes pick them up when they fly back out to the other cities. Check out the 2nd link in my sig, it takes you to a post enumerating links to strategies/tips/etc that were posted on the forum. There's a beginner section and a bux sitting section. CastlePage has posted for fast coin strategy that might be of interest.
Faye, How can you tell how many people are participating in an event for TA1 and who the other crews are that are in the top ten?
Have the game on multiple devices. Do one job and you can see how many people are participating in the crew since you'll obviously be in last place. Same thing with the crews. Join the popular usuals and see who is where.
We have a "spy"...a person who has a second device that can jump to the other teams and see what's going on. I suppose it's like when you first start an event. If you deliver one job, you'll see where you are and the number of participants. I don't think there's a way to tell when you are in the ranks how many are participating. Speaking of participating...looks like the Penguin has come out of the snow to play in the rainy East.
I only have 17 planes, and am doing the feeder thing with Sequoias and one cyclone to the C3's in the Americas plus London and Paris. I also had a lot of free time today and didn't spend it doing what I should have been doing.
Whatever you do...please don't take my comments personally. I am the resident conspiracy theorist and so I question...everything. Pope had great strategies, and obviously you do too. It just appears fishy when you are a couple of events in and destroying everyone. We will call my conspiracy, my jealousy. So sorry for hating on you. Faye-figured out the sound and enjoyed it for all 3 seconds...and then turned it back off!
Can someone tell me which cities you fly in and out of. I want to know which cities I should open airports in that would help me gain money quicker. Currently I'm averaging 7000 coins per day so I need help.
Because I'm lazy I don't wanna go read pages and pages of this forum so can someone tell me (if it hasn't been patched) how to refresh your airport for free.
I'm not sure, I keep checking the forum for it. Don't want to miss out on my MOFO debut, even if it is only in 5th place.
I think the technique they are referring to is buying/selling a super cheap airport (0.0 population) for like 1000 coins which gives you an instant jobs refresh without spending bux. For players with hundreds of millions of coins that is essentially "free".
Thanks but my Iphone game was pretty developed with 35ish slots and loads of different planes to fill them. I might do a giveaway myself at some point, depends on whether I do get the phone back out to play at work, network issues mean I can't always play on my Android when at work
Maybe a tornado blew him away...yuck, yuck, yuck...or maybe he went into hiding with Edward. As for Vic, maybe he got arrested for protesting the whole gay marriage thing going on in France?
Elk, If you haven't traded the blimp yet, I'll trade with you. GC: Warbird11 I have special planes and all the major class 3's you can imagine. Send me a PM and a friend request.
