He will use the Ground skill against a Magical type. However, it would be interesting to see how a Magical type with some degree of Mdef would do against Boco, since he has very little base Matk. I have told cookie master that I can beat Boco with my Rexli. I have yet to do it cuz I already wreck the CC (look at my team, I have both Shu AND Danti) and don't want to experiment anymore. However, my theoretical build for rexli needed a wide degree of Speed in order to double hit Boco. I posted a pic a few pages back on how if I double hit Boco, I win. Thing is tho, I had so much Mdef on that Rexli, I could have done it at that level if I changed the stats around. He just needs like 130 speed.
so you imagine a Rexli with 170/180 Def, 130Spd and the rest on atk? On LvL 39 he would be around 180-200 Atk in that case.. so everything would depend on getting the double hit right?
Okay, the Rex build I used on Boco was: 100 def 100 mdef 120 spd rest atk I would still go with 100def Mdef drop down to 60 or 70. You don't want him switching to his ground attack and using that, dealing more damage. Speed I would raise to 140 or maybe even 150 to ensure the dbl hit. Then rest on atk.
Good luck on boco with rexli rexli 45+ can beat him lvl 40 - never. Boco's matk is almost the same as his atk. If u leave rexli with 30 matk, boco will kill u in 2-3 hits while u will need 4. And u will never get double atk on him, except of he attacks first. As I said, my wind brood lvl 40 gets raped by boco. But wind brood is so much better vs boco then rexli. Wind defense receives only 50% damage from ground attack. My wind brood lvl 40 with 160 speed and 240 matk gets raped. I can kill him in 4 hits and he kills me in 3. If he attacks first, then I get double attack. Usually I attack him first but I never get double, though my speed is more than twice higher than boco's. Boco has 260 atk, 250 matk, 200 def, 170 mdef and 75 speed. That's his approximate stats
And I tried my pumphead too. I received 450 damage from his ground attack meaning even 200 mdef will not help you
U may want to try wind brood fully powered in matk. This build may work. At lvl 41 wind brood will have 300 matk. And his base speed is 102, what is higher than boco's. So u will normally attack him first. If 300 matk kills boco in 3 hits, then wind brood will work. Coz with base def (65) you can survive 2 hits from boco at lvl 41.
Ok i'm beginning to get desperate how about snadle? ground body, good base def & mdef, lvl12 when you buy him --> most points still to spend there you go
Snadle is exactly the same as ground brood, but has less hp and lower speed. I tried snadle, leveled him to 40 and... sold him Most of the time could leave boco with 80-90 hp, but wasn't close to kill him. The only options to kill boco are ground brood, wind brood and blue magiman. I recommend using magical attack on boco, coz his mdef is 30-40 lower than physical def. Shakez says blue magi has 30% chance at lvl 42. My blue magi is 41 and most of the time I leave boco with 20-30 hp. I guess at 42 my chance will be 50%. and I'm ok with that
nope that wasn't me, i haven't experimented with blue magiman on boco yet.. was somebody else.. all i did was killing him with ground brood on 39

1. Wind brood lvl 41 with 240 matk and 160 speed. Wind brood at 41 can beat boco. Either 220 matk and rest on speed, or all points in matk or 120-180 def rest on matk. But i don't have other wind brood, so i can't test it 2-4. Blue magiman lvl 41 with 180 def and 200 matk
Yeah at lvl 41 the only way magiman can beat boco is if he air bombs four times. And I will reset a rexli after update and then ss it beating boco.
