Point in shoot as in a cheaper one that you put in your pocket, whip out, shoot, back in your pocket. Unlike an SLR where you grab it, put it around your neck, screw on the lens, shoot, take the lens off, put it in a little bag, and go home.
I think someone made a thread about this before, and that may have some advice, lemme take a look for ya. EDIT: Here it is: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=35339&highlight=camera Not much but its something. It agrees with Kamazar below me so that may be a good choice. For myself, I know nothing about cameras, but a look on CNET may help. Hope this helps!
Ok, gotta ask, is YouAllEverybody a Lost reference? The Sony CyberShot is pretty nice, and Canon has always been great with cameras. You just gotta find out that fits your needs. I still have an ancient (by today's standards) Canon SLR that still uses one of those flash cards. Great quality, though. Say I take a picture from 20 feet away, you can tell if a person in it is wearing contacts.
It totally is. I would've loved to have Charlie's guitar or DriveShaft ring. That was the first scene recorded.
