Wow, graphics look just as good as the original PoP:WW. Although I think they need to do a bit of work on that boobie on the last picture
I ended up asking for a refund on the iPhone version, with good reasons. Gameloft released a build without a menu and that is fairly unstable. From the second that I played it, it looked like they were trying to show too much of an area on the iPhone at a time. Platforming should be less annoying on the iPad, though it wasn't that bad in the iPhone version. I'm looking forward to purchasing the iPad version. I'm really hating wanting every iPhone game on the iPad since now I don't buy many games on my iPhone. Let's get universal apps for the iPhone 4 and the iPad, the higher resolution textures and OpenGL 2.0 effects won't be wasted space on either.
That's not Gameloft trying to show off too much of an area, or platforming. It's how it is in the PS2 version and this is a direct port, so that's how it is.
I'm dying to play this but I will also hold off on the iphone version for this one. Hopefully they'll plan for future releases so they can put both versions up at the same time or closer together.
i agree, the only reason why they don't release them at the same time is because they get alot more money, if they release the iphone game for $12.99 then release the ipad game for $21.99, so then people whi like the game and have an ipad will buy both versions. that way they make a whole heap more money, which i find disrespectful to theos who spend $30 origionally wanting an ipad game, but what can you do?
Yeah I wanted to buy this on my iPod but I think I'll wait not that this is in the works. The graphics look a lot better too!
Got this for Xbox back in the day, and Microsoft never saw fit to make it compatible with the 360 system. Looks good for the iPad - will have to see what they want to charge for it..

Yeah I've been waiting for this one for a while now, Its my favorite PoP game by far hopefully it's out soon!
What's going on with this and Splinter Cell: Conviction HD? I have PoP: WW already, but I was considering the iPad version because thebgame seems better fit to the 9.7" screen. I've been wanting to get Splinter cell, but on iPad.
Completely agreed, it's really annoying that these releases still don't arrive at the same time as their iPhone counterparts, i'm waiting for lets golf 2 HD and Hero Of Sparta 2 HD aswell, gameloft is taking their sweet time...
