I am using OS 3.1 and trying to arrange my apps. I see one page displayed at a time and can move the apps around on that particular page but how can I move then from page to page ? Is there a way to view all the pages on screen at the same time ? I could uncheck them all as the list of all my games is shown on the left side of the screen and start over but I am afraid this will reinstall them and I might lose my saved data. Anyone used this feature yet ?
You mean re-arranging from iTunes 9? In order to move from page to page, just drag an app icon from the one page displayed (the big one) and drag it to any of the screens you see on the right column (the small ones). The big screen should reflect what page your icon is currently hovering. If you have access to this morning's (or yesterday's) keynote, you can see this in action at minute 16:17 http://movies.apple.com/datapub/us/podcasts/apple_keynotes/sept2009_event.m4v
Thanks, I will watch the video. My problem seems to be that all my screens are full so when I drag a game to another screen, the icon disapears. I was hoping that if both screens were full, the icons would just switch places
No, if you drag it it moves down a page. Just delete one app for room for it to move down a page. And do it in iTunes 9, it is so much better.
ok, so if you drag a game onto a full page, the icon will dissapear but the game will still be there using the search function right ?
