So the new system update for the PS3 includes an emulator, allowing you to play any of the PSP Minis on the console... am I the only one wondering what's gonna happen to the resolution when you display something like Fieldrunners on an HDTV? Personally I'm thinking it'll look terrible.

I haven't turned it on in a couple of days so I only noticed it today. It's an optional update so you have to do it manually.

I can't cause I'm not buying any PSP Minis ;)

Apparently the update went live in December but went largely unnoticed since it's optional.

I think that update came out a few weeks ago... When I was trading games with kgamelover1 i picked up field runners from him, downloaded a system update, and was able to play it at that time. You are absolutely right, the resolution looks like shit and the controls are shit also... tho that may just be because I'm used to using the touch screen. Still, it felt awkward having to navigate square by square and zoom in and out.

edit: didn't see that last post as we posted close to the same time. also, I forgot to mention I was playing on a 1080p tv.
