I wonder if there will be a 3-in-1 pack released. Been holding off on getting this until the 3rd chapter is released.
I thought this game was abandoned. I almost deleted PQ just last night lol Close call. Getting the update as I type.
Yeah, I had to restart my Bard and it's going to take a while to turn him back into the beast he once was. It's all good though, this (to me) is still by far the best put together match 3 the Appstore has to offer. Now all we need is head to head online multiplayer!
Hells Yeah! And only $2! That's a steal. I thought they would gouge us by charging $5-$8. I've been waiting for ages for this!!!
I'm hoping for a 3 in one release now that the final chapter is out, but in case that doesn't eventuate what do I need to buy? I currently see a lite, a chapter 1, and a chapters 1 and 2. Which one should I get? Does it matter? Do you just buy additional chapters in-app regardless of which initial package you buy? *mumbles* and why on earth did they need to make it this confusing?..
If you buy Chapters 1 and 2 together, you can get Chapter 3 as DLC for $1.99. That is what I did earlier tonight.
I think might have bought the DLC more than one time, because it kept on saying you have to be in "sandbox" mode or something? And then my itunes credit dropped by $8. Hmm, is there any way we can check to verify our purchase. I'm not up to the point where it transition from 2 to 3 yet, so I can't use the main story to check.
I've got this "Updating Store" screen in white going for like 10 minutes. Anyone else have this issue? I guess they are adding something else? GRRRR. I WANT MY CHAPTER 3!!!!!
YAY! This was unsuspected, but a pleasant surprise! Bought it, lovin' it. Lucky me, Puzzle Quest stayed on my phone for the last months in hope of the update, and I have all my saved data... Chapter 3 is the biggest chapter - and a steal for 2 bucks, yes. I feared that Transgaming forgot about us Puzzle Quest fans, but apparently, they didn't.
This is so stupid. WHERE is the update to Chapter 3??? I've looked in every screen and just can't find it. Also, this updates sucks really hard. There are NO bug fixes at all - it still plays music and sound effects when the phone is on silent. Not happy.
WHOA!!! The KING is back! I'm glad I didn't erased PQ from the iPhone (I might add several iPhones) despite the total lack of infos. Already bought....I have to level up many times in a row at the very start because while level capped you earn experience. It's a pity that Transgaming doesn't have any form of active advertising the game, forum presence, hype building, dates announcing....I still think PQ is one of the best game in the App Store, despite a rough start they did a great job updating it in the initial months...but the total lack of infos is really detrimental to the game (I suspect MANY already erased it and not a lot of people will actually know of the chapter 3)...a pity...this version should have sold millions. I suspect that many exceptional games I already own still unfinished will be put on hold just for PQ
After you update the game, you have a new menu item: STORE. From there you can buy Chapter 3. It's instant BTW, you do not have to download anything, it simply unlocks the data you already have on the new version. When you continue your game, you're uncapped, you find new quests, etc...
Thnaks, my intial update via itunes didn't work, I see the store tab now. There no still no bug fixes though Edit: When I click on the store tab it just says "Updating Store" forever, nothing loads. Wtf??
Just a heads up; keep in mind this pertains to the Australian store as far as I know for sure, but don't see why it would be different elsewhere: The price for "Chapters 1 & 2" as initial purchase is $5.99. You are then able to buy chapter 3 in-app for a further $2.49. However. If you download the free "lite" version, you are then able to purchase chapters 1, 2 AND 3 for $5.99. So obviously if you haven't bought the game before, download the free version then upgrade. You get chapter 3 free. A strange oversight. But there it is.
Glad to hear of Chapter 3 now available. Only had the game for a couple months but it has been my main go-to game to play and with the added chapter makes it even better. Finally a conclusion to the game that won't leave me hanging. Anyone NOT get it yet? Missing out on terrific game!
I love it since I got my first iPhone - this game stayed on it 'til now. I started over completely and will take a new, full run through the game. This time I go with a warlock through all three chapters. Because of the many different character classes the game has alot of replay value! I think this definately is the best match-3 game on the iPhone - because the RPG-style and the storyline with all its quests is more than well designed. Puzzle Quest is a masterpiece. And finally - Transgaming held their promises - the game is complete.
