Still no Hat of Legend after 6 re-rolls, but I did get what are possibly the two most blatantly cursed hats in existence: a skull mask with a halo made of fire and a berserker helm with flaming spikes.
Fantastic game. Bought IAP to support developer. Would gladly buy a coin doubler too if offered. Possible idea for a new boss an evil version if your own runner with the same super moves you could even have him dressed up randomly from all the available hats/masks/etc so he would be different every time! Great game looking forward to updates!
Can anyone tell me what a "master foe" is? I have a mission to defeat 10 of them and haven't came across one yet? On another note the awesome special hats sound amazing I can't wait untill I get to unlock them. Only got a little over 2 hours playtime so far but still loving the hell out of this. Edit. Well I just killed 4 of the master foe's but don't know what they were lol.
Depending on your interpretation of the flavor text, Gnomey's mother used to either bake skulls and berzerker helms or bake gnome gods and metal mohawks. Either way, I am now terrified of Gnomey's mother.
They're the "final version" of the enemies. For the bats, it's the blue glowing ones. The skull squids are the ones that shoot red lightning down from the tentacles. Wraiths are the purple ones that shoot fireballs. Red glowing skeletons that jump up at you. Red imps. Blue orcs (blorcs) with the spiky shield.
Maybe we can make that more clear down the road as I flesh out some extra attract-screen tutorial stuff.
You and me both, WooHooII. Also, remind me never to come into contact with a pixellated tophat white cat riding on a rocket or any gnomes. But seriously guys, I introduced Punch Quest to others, and they loved it! You guys definitely made it weird and awesome! (Whose idea was it to do Gnome vs. Bees?)
So if I re-roll a hat with a Power I, I will probably lose it, right? Just wondering since I want to re-roll the hat, but not the power-up.
Gnome vs Bees in a big gnome temple was Kepa's idea. EchoSeven yeah, you risk losing the skill. BTW how do you like the re-roll effect?
What's the best approach for the wraiths with glowing hands? I have tried a direct punch, a power slam and they always do damage to me no matter how I approach them. Is there window of opportunity to hit them or something? Thanks!
There's a couple of ways. You can either time a straight punch perfectly to hit them just before they can hit you, wait for them to float upwards and uppercut them, or (which I do) jump just in front of them, do a dash punch to bring you above them and them slam down on top. Generally it's easier to do with the Tier II power slam skill (which I always use). What do you mean by "effect"?
So I leveled my gnome to 100, and now I can start leveling him again. Any benefit the 2nd+ time around?
I launched the game today and found all my progress reset. Everything from gnome level, scores, stats, idols, etc. The only thing remaining were the purchases I made with Punchos. Anyone had this occur to them? (iPhone 5, if matters) Cheers!
