Now that I finally have a Hat of Legend, I have no idea what to do with it. It gives me Ki Blast, but it seems to be a lot easier in general to avoid fireballs than reflect them, so it's not really helping.
You can get up to 8 ultra hats, so you can reroll them all separately. You can get any Power I skill on them. Ki Blast can be handy for maintaining a combo, but yeah it's not the best one.
Woot Woot! As long as GC doesnt screw me over again, I'm #13 on the leaderboard with 212,000!! I will cry if GC goes all ape **** on me after that crazy run.
Actually, when trying out the hat just now I got my new top combo (x234). That would be a pretty strong argument for the value of Ki Blast... except I didn't actually reflect anything. I actually just got extremely lucky and ran into a Gnome Party in the middle of a good combo. So I guess the hat's a good luck charm?
Pretty much, but why keep a hat you won't use? Actually, it could be used for quests, since I vary my skills based on the quests I get, so there is that.

Is it possible a button could be added to resync game center achievements? The one for getting the first gnome to god level does not seem to be triggering properly.
This happens to me as well each and every time the Gnome suggests a power up to achieve the goal of a new quest at the end of a run like you said! I don't think it matters what quest, at least not in my case, so long as the quest requires you to arm a skill or power, it resets your run score! It's funny because I was just coming on here to mention the same thing tonight. I will try the game again sinew e I haven't played it today after the update. Who knows, maybe they already addressed it?
I just came within 5000 points of my best score using my Ki Blast hat with Bull Rush... except, come to think of it, I think Bull Rush makes you immune to fireballs anyway, so I don't think Ki Blast actually did anything. It may have even been using up extra energy. I'm starting to think that I've stumbled into some sort of inspirational story, and have been given a useless hat to show me that the true punching power was within me all along, or something like that.
Yeah, the update that just hit was submitted from a week ago or more, before the game was even out. The next update will be submitted in around a week, it'll have bugfixes and pets and so on.
I feel like I have no idea how to play this game. It would be helpful if there were some instruction. I'm a seasoned gamer and yet I feel like I'm missing out on something. Anyone else have this issue?
Well, I just lost my 212,000 high score as I feared. Seems to happen whenever someone accepts my GC friend request and it's ALWAYS the same old score that gets resubmitted. For me, it's one of my very 1st high scores of 74,320. Teh ninja accepted my GC FR and then bam! 212,000 overwritten by a measly 74,320. Can't figure this problem out. Teh ninja, you've never had this happen to you?
I personally think 3 dollars for the coin doubler is fine seeing as its somewhat "useless". If you do iap packs have them be .99 and offer 1 hat and then have packs for 2.99 that offer 5 hats. Something like that. You need a .99 iap offer, seriously. Less people are likely to spend 15 dollars on one massive iap pack. I know I have supported you since Hook Champ but even that is a tad expensive for me. If it was mage dungeon that is a whole other story....
