Ragdoll Blaster 2: Tips, Hints and Screenshots

    Hi,

    I need help with Room 5 - 5.6 "Grinder 2"

    I have NO idea to solve this level, if I fire a doll over the three wheels, from the right to the left, it bounces on the wall and then it skids towards the most left wheel. But there is a little barrier at the corner, which makes it impossible for the doll to slide over it, and fall down the tube to the target.

    So any idea how to solve the level?

    You have to hit the peg sticking out in the bottom wheel to get it spinning clockwise. You'll have to keep shooting it until they are spinning pretty fast. Then lob a doll between the top two wheels. They will squeeze the doll through and it will drop down and slide to the target. The best I have on it is a ten but I haven't tried any other way on it yet.

    Are you sure it will get squeezed through? :)

    I tried squeezing through both a) on the upper 2 and b) and the lower 2, both times the doll was too massive and got the whole spinning system stopped (because it was too big obviously).

    you need to fire at the wheel closest to cannon, at its levers. once you fire 6 dolls it starts spinning really fast. you can then fire at the point between 2 top wheels and doll will be sqeesed through into the tube. I did it in 7 shots, may be there is a better way.

    BTW i got Mega Ramp in 3 shots. Brutal. I can see the whites of your eyes, PhantomX :)

    Very interesting...I still have 6 there. I'm trying to figure out how 3 would be possible....hmmm think I may know, but seems incredibly difficult...very well done! We're gonna see some scores in the 20s on Silver soon ;)

    I managed to knock the wooden plank off the target with a doll earlier, but I wasn't expecting it to happen so I wasn't ready with another doll. I would have finished with 4 :(

    Thanks BillT + eugekava, you where right!

    The problem was, that I din't spin the wheels fast enough, or could say I didn't know that I could be able to shoot them that fast :D

    damn the ragdoll lottery level (6.15)is very difficult..
    any tips?i think that i have to put a doll inside the big wheel but i can't thind i way to do it :(

    You've got the right idea, they fit through those tiny holes. Just aim at the closest hole when the level starts and keep resetting until one goes in. Then wait and pray.

    thank you a lot..i was trying to get a doll into a random hole of the wheel but the right strategy is the one you suggest..the hole is the very first at the start.
    again thanks..now back to the 8.1 (wheeler dealer) :D

    You know how sometimes dolls go through walls and other objects? It was the case here. Just got lucky.

    Is the first post with the tab of scores updated? Because I know that levels T.7.teamwork and 3.1.wheel pipe can be done in one easily.

    dissapointed with some of this!

    This game is not as compelling as the first for me! An awful lot of the later levels are not about solving problems or thinking up ways of hitting the target! They are about firing dozens of ragolls to move your cannon to some unseen area of the level so you can then take a simple shot and hit the target, rolly is particularly stupid to name but 1.

    Am I the only one thinking this?

    I totally agree with you. MidianGTX brought this up as well. These levels are questionable: Wheeler Dealer, Big Wheel, Rolly, and possibly Son of Flex.

    What makes this game fun is figuring out new ways to solve the problems using as few dolls as possible, NOT blasting away 20-30 dolls haphazardly. The elegance of the game is lost.

    P.S. I'm not saying all the levels in the last rooms are a problem. MOST of them are GENIUS and take the puzzles to another level. It's really just the 3 or 4 mentioned that are a problem for me. And ehh, who knows, maybe they'll grow on me.

    The "Doll Spam" Levels

    I love them. It's still a puzzle, just on that involves moving the cannon rather than manipulating the flight of the doll. Jump Around is a freaking blast...and as for Rolly, I'm having fun figuring out how many dolls I need to get to each bomb. Stringing together a perfect sequence of dolls is going to be a cool challenge.

    Now Quake, on the other hand...whoever designed that one can cram it with walnuts.
