Also helpful to keep in mind that screenshots will never do 3D justice. So far the only thing I'd like to add is focus on gameplay . I'll never notice some graphical things if the gameplay rocks! Of course my first online rpg was a MUD so I'm not exactly in the majority.
is this game similar to Oblivion? looks like it, if gameplay is similar im super stoked cuz Obliv was a hella good game..
I was wondering if you could summon creatures to aid you in your fights cause I always love to summon stuff in Oblivion and other RPG games. If you dont already have summons then I would advise putting them in the expansion at least cause they make the game feel fun and as if your playing with someone else i guess lol. Great job tho on the game Josh I've been eyeing this fourm for the past couple of weeks
id like this too. even if its just something simple like some animal like a wolf or something. With my main character on oblivion that was my tactic. I was an archer so i summoned things to deal with close quarters while i took things out with my bow.
Strenght 15, Endurance 233 !? Holy tank! Nice too see some stats, and now the million dollard question... What's the level cap? Level cap can make or break a game, remember the number one complaint about Fallout 3? Even Underworlds is going to raise the cap from 10 to 50. A lot of people like playing the game after the main story, the higher the level cap, the longer you can play the game, as long as the enemies still give you a challenge. Thank for the feedback, I'm glad you guys are taking the time to polish the game.
Hey I really meant this in a good way, I mean look at the game, it looks amazing! I just don't think the interface has the same polished look as the ingame stuff (according to the trailer) and considering the interface is always in our face, wouldn't hurt to make it a little sleaker and nicer.
Well now that everything is in place in the interface and working the way we want, we could probably change the "skin" of it with different textures. We want to get the last missions and other stuff in first though, before any cosmetic changes.
This game looks great, and I'm waiting for it anxiously. If this is anywhere near as good as Oblivion was, I'm going to instant buy. Good luck on finishing this up!
I don't think theres a level cap - but I'll confirm. I think it just keeps going up. Of course when you get past a certain point, any enemies that spawn would be completely annihilated by your attacks! At that point you are just getting more loot, more money...
Not sure if it's been asked or answered already, but will there be a talent tree similar to World of Warcraft?
No there shouldn't be a level cap, there should be HUGE bossmonsters and multiplayer like in Monster Hunter, where the monsters are always stronger then you, but never use the same stats.. Say: After you play through the game, you should be lv. 99, because the last quest requires that. Then after you finish the last quest, it should unlock sort of a "Arena Mode". From there on, there are 5 huge monsters which you have to kill, depending on what level you are. Shouldn't that be implemented in an expension pack?!
