That's it. I am done. Not getting it now. It took too long. Just kidding. I don't think it is too much to ask for an estimated release date though. Seriously...
Yeah i understand. I just don't like it when a group of people critizes a person. I agree that what he said is childish, but i didn't decided to defend him because of what he said. Im just that type of person who likes to defend others. And honestly, when the developers said that the game was going to be released soon, i did not expect "soon" to be about 2 to 3 weeks. I thought soon meant: "we are finising up the game and getting it ready to be sent to apple." I guess i was wrong..
I don't like it when people gang up on somebody, either. I guess we've seen just too much of that kind of overreaction around here, particularly around the release of iPad games. (Off-topic, but for all the talk about Apple neglecting iPhone/iPod Touch owners over the shinny new iPad, pretty much the entire Keynote on iPhone OS 4.0 was about the iPhone/iPod Touch.)
This game is definitely at the top of my wishlist. I never cared much at all for the in/behind car games (Real Racing, Need for Speed, etc.), and I always loved the good old top-down racers on Nintendo. This should be a delight. I wish more developers would make top-down racers like this and Touch Racing Nitro. They're perfect for this platform.
That's why devs shouldn't announce their games too early!! Anyway take your own sweet time. The last thing anyone wants is a half baked product followed by loads of 1 star reviews!!!!
I can accept critisism for what I said. I just don't like broken promisis. As far as other platforms go there has been hundreds of games that I can't remember the names over the years that have been delayed time and time again so they can make it better but they go overboard and end up killing te game. Maybe I was a little childish and overeacted but I appreciate your response either way.
Thing is though, that this game has NEVER been delayed so that's quite a weird thing to complain about.
Sign of the times Back in the early 80s game announcements were pretty much exclusively through magazines that were published monthly. You'd get an announcement and maybe a couple of months later would be an update and maybe eventually a release date. You waited each month to see what new info/screenshots etc. were available. I have to say the excitement generally built up over time! Now we have a generation raised on instant information and the "wait" for new details seems intolerable to many. Of course, just as the use of the media can help a dev to promote their upcoming products, the two-way nature of discussion forums allows people to make their thoughts known about a perceived delay! As the title says, the comments in the thread are probably more a sign of the times than any particular wrong doing on either part. So let's just chill, and wait for the eventual release of what looks like will be an excellent game.
I'm chilling but let it be known that the group of people that want to team up against me are the ones being childish and thank you to all who commented against them.
This game really does look great and is on of my most anticipated games. Can't wait for it to come out.
can you guyz Tease us a lil more with something NEW? a few unseen screenshots? a few details like 10 tracks & also reverse which makes it 20 Some info like tht? Any UNREVEALED info about the game?
You're honestly calling us the childish ones? Not trying to be mean or anything but go back and read your post. And I was not "teaming up" on you. More random people posted.
C'mon! Bury ze hatchet ladies... Move on! back to ma question.... Any UNREVEALED info about the game? tht U wanna share?
Well, for those of us with an iPad, I'm sure it would be awesome to see some video of the iPad-specific version!!!!!
