Wow, interest in this game has reached a fever pitch since last time I was here! There was even a veiled, cryptic update from the developer! Hooray!! This game is going to be the best game to come out since Duke Nukem Forever!! What? That never came out? Oh... Well this will be the best game never to come out since Duke Nukem Forever then!!
We want to thank everybody for showing such a huge interest for Deliverace and apologize for the delay. The team here has been hard at work improving and making some final adjustments to the game. Much has happened the last few weeks; a new track made it into the game, the delivery mode had a makeover, the UI was finalized, a casual game mode was added, Polarbits cross-platform online community support was added and much more The game is finally finished and we are just waiting for QA approval now. Our goal is to release it simultaneously on iPhone, iPad and Android. Also, the game has been renamed to Reckless Racing. Stay tuned for more information.
Me tooo! & Guess wht? No mention about Weapons, So thts how it iz Reckless Racing.... I'll haffta put up with tht just like I did with an iPad & so many othr thangz, but It is a good move as PpL will Reckless is a very common word when coming to games & search'll auto populate this title bada bing bada boom
Thanks for the update and we all anticipate the release of this game. Though some thought the name "Deliverace" sounded too much like the movie Deliverance, I personally thought that name sounded better for a game title.
Don't bring in weapons it will ruin the game.Maybe you can make it a feature that gets unlocked after you complete all missions.
So I guess this means the release is about a week or two away. I have been waiting for this game since it was first announced am very excited!
Deliverace was a much better title. I guess they wanted to make sure people knew it was a racing game ("Deliverace" has "race" in the title, but the play on words makes it more subdued)? Either way, they've just thrown months of hype down the drain. "Reckless Racing" will have to start its own hype all over again.
I would assume that QA approval means in-house testing, and that their QA person (or group) has to give the thumbs up before they can submit the game for app store approval. And I agree with the name -- Deliverace was a much better name. Either way, I plan on picking this game up when it comes out.
QA means Quality Assurance, so i agree that it is in-house testing. It has not yet been released to the App Store.
