Also Battlefield, medal of honor, Burnout and FIFA are pretty good. There's nothing wrong with EA, they make good games. I've not seen many huge games from them but they're not so bad
EA doesn't make the games and why are we whining about EA, just take one glance at Activision, all of they're devs are on a chain!
A big hello to you guys! Sorry for beeing rather quiet lately. It's been a little frustrating to not really have been able to talk about what was going on. But now the EA deal is official at last. Unfortunately, we still can't tell you when the game will reach the AppStore or how much it will cost, since that is now ultimately EA's decision. But you guys have waited long enough for our game, so let's hope it comes real soon!
As soon as the whole thing was confirmed I suddenly imagined the amount of frustration you guys must have had at reading the spiralling nightmare that was this thread and not being able to talk. But hey, it shows people care I guess!
I think they're stated that the games been finished a few times. Everyone just thought they were lying or something
EA Partners allows them to retain the IP, even when they're with EA. So that EA doesn't own the IP and won't have total control over it like most of their games. Hope this helps
Oh right, I see. Hopefully it'll be released with retina display support, or if not then included in an update.
If I were you guys I would have not sold to EA. I understand having a big name behind you is great but the buzz this game was getting alone would have made you guys a lot of money, repuatation. Now for the thousands of thousands of people that buy this game and aren't familiar with sites like this are only going to see EA and assume they are the creators. I guess it really is all about the benjamins. Anyway I think the game looks amazing and I wish you guys the best
I think he was talking about building their own brand rather than just having people assume this game was made by EA. I'm not exactly clear either
Ah I see what he means now. Still, from a practical perspective, it's better not to take a chance. Besides, I'm sure EA will say that this is made by Pixelbite. If they keep making games as stellar looking as this, they won't ever need to use their brand.
Hi, I think that hooking up with EA Sports might be a very good thing, gives them exposure and the name association has to help a lot. My assumption is that the developer here retains coprights to their IP and is just giving a chunk of profits back to EA, which is likely to be offset by the added exposure due to hooking up with EA. The appstore is a tough market right now and to be hooked up with a noted company such as EA has to be an edge. Right now, just waiting for the game to come out. David
