Puerto Rico will allegedly be released this month. It's difficult to know for sure, though, since the game has to be approved by Ravensburger, a company that apparently communicates with the public via carrier pigeon. All other Sage iOS properties have had their release dates pushed back by months. In some cases, many months. See this list: http://bit.ly/qGFRRj
PR is in final QA at Ravensburger and the hope on both sides is that it will be submitted next week and out the week after that. But we will have to let you know when it is actually submitted. (And we will let you know, don't worry!) As Dukester reported, other titles have been pushed back, mainly as a result of the extra time spent on PR. We think they will all be worth the wait though, as we learned even more in this latest project and that will pay off in various ways for future games. We also have updates for Ra and Tikal in testing and hope to have them both out this month as well. Stay tuned. We will make announcements as we have them! And thanks, as always, for your patience and support.
Puerto Rico has been submitted to Apple! And now we really have no idea what the release date will be! (Our apologies to Apple for the spike in network activity that the App Store is about to have.)
We're not in control of the price, but you could ask here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=100622
Super sale week! It's Thanksgiving here in Canada, and we will also be attending FallCon on Friday, so we've reduced our prices even further to celebrate these events! More news coming soon!
T&E coming to iOS soon! That's right, we're officially in the home stretch for the release of the much anticipated third installment in our current list of Knizia games! Regarded by many as Reiner Knizia's masterpiece, Tigris & Euphrates is set in the ancient fertile crescent with players building civilizations through tile placement. Players are given four different leaders: farmer, trader, priest, and king. The leaders are used to collect victory points in their respective colors / categories. However, your score at the end of the game is the number of points in your weakest category, so you must develop your civilization in as balanced a way as possible. Conflict arises when kingdoms connect and leaders clash on the board, with only one leader of each type surviving. Among the key features of the iOS adaptation will be: - universal app, tested on iOS 3.1.3 through iOS 5 - glorious graphics for iPad, Retina, and 1st gen iPhone/iPod screens - support for solo play with varying degrees of AI difficulty - support for 2 to 4 local human players with or without additional AI - support for turn-based multiplayer using Game Center - full tutorial - illustrated rules We'll be announcing a release date as soon as we have one nailed down, but it will definitely be in the next few weeks! In the meantime, here are some screenshots: (Note: the games in these shots have the option for "Public Scores" turned on... it's off by default! ) iPad: War! iPad: Revolt! iPhone: War! iPhone: War! (Zoomed in) iPhone: Monuments (Zoomed in)
The screenshots looks awesome.Kudos to the designer. Hopefully the gameplay will be as good as the game looks.

As a guy late to the world of RK (really didn't know much about him until I first played many of his iPhone adaptations) is T&E pure skill or is there still some luck of the draw involved? Do you start with all of your kingdom tiles in hand or do you have to choose one to play from a limited hand of tiles each turn?
The short answer is there is luck of the draw with tiles. The long answer is you have a hand of six tiles and on your turn you can take two actions. Your choice of actions is; move a leader, play a tile, or play a catastophe. At the end of your turn you have to draw tiles to replenish your hand back to six tiles. Edit: you can also collect points as one of your two actions per turn.
