Next-gen sidescrolling Metroid/Castlevania-esque exploration game. According to Cliffy B, the game is "The Metroid sequel I always wanted." It's really really good. Really good. Anyone else playing this?

Yeah, if you like Super Metroid, you'll love this game. The story is pretty stupid, but whatever, the game itself is awesome.
I never heard anything about it being for the iPhone. As far as I am concerned it is staying XBLA exclusive... that's why it's an XBLA exclusive ahhaha But yeah I loved Super Metriod. It actually was my favourite metriod in the series (at least all the 2-D scroller ones). So that's awesome. Like I said, checked out the review and have seen and heard nothing but neat shit about it other than yeah, mundane story. Heard the voice acting though, didn't sound too too bad.
How much does this cost? I'm not going to go on my 'Box now and I want to know so I can put some money on my card and then use it to get some Micro-Points.
Actually downloaded this and played a few hours on it yesterday... Absolutely brilliant, the game borrows heavily from Super Metroid and is a fantastic experience for it, Everything, from the way you gradually gain more abillities by picking up power ups, to the way you increase your grenade/rocket capacity by picking up extra packs screams Metroid at you, even the map looks very similar! Of course the graphics are the main improvement on the overall experience and some of the Boss/Mini Boss battles are fantastic, add to this a few 3D sections plus a cool storyline and a nice musical score and you've got the game that every Metroid fan has been waiting for (but on the 360!) To sum up, this is the game that Super Metroid would have been if Nintendo had made it today instead of in 1994, if your'e a fan of the series you owe it to yourself to buy this, I wouldnt be surprised if Nintendo are playing this themselves and wondering why they didn't do the same with their franchise.
this game was totally awsome! unfortunately i finished it very quickly. so ill start over i guess on hard or something... must have xbla purchase!!
i've loved this game since i saw the short clip at E3 '09. My brother was pissed because they didn't make another gears of war as if it was needed, it wasn't to long since GOW2 came out.
This isn't made by epic it's made by chair entertainment, which epic bought probably after a demonstration of the awesomeness of this game.
Too bad, it really is a great game, don't think it's worth buying a 360 for but there are many other reasons for buying a 360 out there.
Finished the game twice already, normal and hardcore... received all the items 100%... I might do it again for the sake of achievements. Finish the game with 13% items only and reach 50 XP...
Castlevania and Metroid with HD, this game is insane. Only $15, the best XBLA game, also Castle Crashers and Marvel vs Capcom 2.
I downloaded demo will give it a spin. Only games on XBLA that I own and like are Carcassone and Battlefield 1943...rest pure suckage and overpriced.
