Yeah that's the truth! Personally I'm more about the fun than the high kill rate! Always lots of fun when your around. I read your recent suggestions over on the SoG facebook pages. I like the idea of being able to color code your friends and also the rear view mirror. I would prefer though the ability to toggle it on and off, because I wouldn't always want it blocking my foward view. Speaking of fun, are you trying out the new FW yet? I thought it had your name written all over it!
yes.. strange.. why does SGN bring the bad version of a plane later than the good one? nobody will buy it.. if the old tempest was a lame duck, the new one is a brick..
I bought it but only because I want all the planes. I really don't understand their pricing scheme though. The new green zero was more expensive than the FW, yet compared to it, it totaly sucks! EDIT: Of couse they do have a track record of giving away free stuff and the people who have spent the most seems to get the best free stuff. I buy these things now, but I wonder what I might get for free in the future.
Bingo!!!!! All I know is I would have hated only getting that green zero, and not having the white hein. There seemed to be quite a good period of time there when the white hein was the best plane around. I would have found it somewhat painful to have not had access to it at all! Edit: Also sometimes the planes can be better or worse than their stats would suggest. Example: Old mustang, much worse than the stats would suggest. Example: BF better than stats would suggest.

yes, that is true.. but would you buy the grey BF too? I can't believe that it would be better than the brown one... If the new tempest would be better than the old I would buy it. To bad.. as our experts in this forum told us, the tempest was one of the fastest planes... now it's a lame duck... So if you have got the green tempest, try it out and compare it to the old, yellow one... I'm interrested in the result...
Strange, now none of the planes that were new today are showing up in the store for me, no green zero, no new tempest and no new FW! Is this just me or is everyone else seeing this? Good thing I got the FW I guess!
I tried it out once, seemed about the same to me as the old tempest. Edit: Yes I probably would have bought it even knowing it sucked. I just like having all the planes. I play with them all when I'm bored and in offline mode. I do however agree with you though, releasing the crappy version of the plane after the good version was avalable makes no sence. I'm as disapointed as you are that the new tempest sucks.
The new FW is really a kills generator, especially in a TP room filled with noobs. With better armor, u can stay in the enemy spawning ground racking up kills after kills after kills after kills......non stop for a very very long time.
yes I had to try it.. not bad... but... I don't know.. the mustang I like more.. or the BF.. but I get confused when i have to compare so many planes.. I think you have to do 20-30 kills with a new plane and then again 30 with another one you know very good.. this takes time... but I found out: If Keebler is in the room and I fly the BF, then I can only hear him... I will wait for shern
I'm also torn between the new FW and the new mustang. I'm quite used to the new mustang and I am more attached to it, however all that armor that you get with the FW is nothing to sneeze at. I'm like you though, it will take some time to really have a grasp on the differences
Imagine if you had the green zero, because it's the only zero in the game you can get. You start to like the plane and then suddenly you can buy the white one... wow.. what a party.. I was a nice present of SGN, but I was disappointed that the gray BF was crap. The white hien is nice, but it's nothing you like, it's too ugly
I hear you, I really do. They might have just recalled the Tempest and the green zero though, as they aren't showing up for me in the store anymore. Yes I admit, I'm dissapointed in the new BF, the new Tempest and the green zero. I don't know why they did that, I also don't know why they price the planes the way that they do. Why was the green zero more expensive than the much supierior FW? None of this makes any sence what so ever! I also guess I must be the only person who doesn't think the white hein is ugly! I have already given my reasons for buying them anyway. Just because I bought them dosen't mean I'm not disapointed in them. I would like to think though that if they realize they can make enough money selling the planes, they might be a little less inclined to sell perishable items like they do in FAST. Edit: I know that last point is probably very naive on my part, but it's worth a shot I think. Also please don't think I'm arguing against you here, I'm not. I just have my reasons for buying the crappy planes is all.
