Hrm required to use a nuke to pass a platform. Why even both to destroy something that's clearly labeled destroy if it doesn't do anything?
Nvm, I just realized using moving joystick on left hand is not the same as aiming on right hand! I use right hand to aim on dual stick shooters anyway
Bought and loving it! Any chance of trying to put iControlPad support in like you kinda half mentioned in the upcoming thread? I'm sure if you go to their forums and ask would they buy it if you implemented it you would get a massive resounding yes to build your demand up. You could do with more support as does the iCP so why not help each other out?
Don't want to start another war on IAP, as they aren't completely necessary to play the game, but I do agree with STP's review in that it is pretty slow going to gain gems. Hopefully, I'll get better at the game, but I find myself having to buy health packs instead of weapon upgrades just because it gets fairly difficult and I've died too many times mid-level. That said, I don't mind going back and grinding a bit on earlier levels to gain them. The video thing wasn't working for me last night, but I'll try that method as well. Of course, I'd just prefer the whole 3-life thing per stage, but that would defeat the purpose of the challenge (just because I'm not great at it -- I never was at Contra either -- still doesn't mean I don't find it fun). Overall, still enjoying the game. Definately one of the best side-scrolling shooters on the iOS.
Wow. I'm really enjoying this one. Seems to be pretty deep for the price, controls well and is just screaming fun. A great homage to Contra!
Glitchsoft, dude, my man, I just fired up a game here, and before I even got to hit the start button I had to close 2 ads. I can semi-sorta see watching the Zynga ad to get gems, but these regular for-nothin pop-ups have to go. Save those for an ad-supported lite version of the game. We paid for this. Please get rid of the pop-ups. I know they're profitable for you, but they are immersion-destroying for us.
That popup is supposed to introduce players to Destructopus, our other title, or other suggested games... We're working on it.
Impulse bought this as well than found out it's not universal! I mean come on for crying out loud it's 2012.. Stop trying to scam us out of another fee in 3 months and make the game universal form the start. It's impossible to control it properly on an iPAD2 blown up!
Do this: How about instead of complaining, you read back a few pages to understand the dev is adding universal support post-launch.
Maybe you should get rid of the G and put other games in the list. People might think it's a redirect to your website and never click it. IDK...just throwing out a suggestion.
