DarkeMage, get out troll, your complaining that one of the greatest apps, which now has a huge amount of replayability is to expensive for you? And you think that its not fair for Kepa to make the game be on sale when it releases so those who buy early get a discount? Wow you are a very very sad person, and you probably waste money on Starbucks or Burger King, but you complain that the Dev. is ripping people off? Just leave, if all your going to do is complain that 3$ is to much for you, then I'm sorry that you will be missing out on one of the years best apps :/
kepa, my main concern here is, when I get my iPhone 4 next week am I going to have to start over or will my progress be saved? btw, absolutely amazing game, I know I picked apart some of the game based on the previews I saw, but this game is more beautiful than I imagined, you have created a masterpiece. if you ever need sexual favors, I'm your man. thank you for this fine addition, are you going to be doing another touch arcade podcast soon?
We want to get OpenFeint Saves into the update we want to submit on Friday. That would let you transfer your saves over.
A question about the OpenFeint leaderboards: Some scores have little video icons next to them, while others (like the insanely high 38000 Avalanche score) don't. What do they mean?
Maybe you can watch them kinda like in Jet Car Stunts. Just a guess, I haven't really noticed it lol. I hope it's like that though.
im maybe crazy, but im gonna pass this one. i didnt like hook champ s maybe i dont like this one either.
is Gramps Hooker going to make an appearance in this game, or will he be the main character in the next game? gramps hook should 1. smoke a pipe 2. have a peg leg.
I found a small glitch involving the tutorial level. Basically, in the tutorial level, if you run off of the left side of the screen in the beginning, you replay the level as if it were the first time playing it (with all of the dialogue and no ghost of your previous run). On a side note, has anyone found the secret in the first level? I can't find it anywhere.
That's not a glitch, it's intentional. The game even tells you when you go back into the level after you've beaten it.
thanks for giving a thought out response instead of just calling people cheap because it's 'only this much!'. however, i disagree with the whole thing because it goes against how business works. stuff goes on sale after it has been out for a while because when things become cheaper, more people tend to buy it. i mean, if i said i've got this sega saturn with the most amazing game made for it, but i want you to buy it off me for the original retail price (or more, since our business model was to only benefit early adopters), you'd spit in my face. i know it's on a different scale because we're talking about a $3 game as opposed to over $600 for the saturn and game, but where do you draw the line? when does $10 for an iphone game sound just fine? then $15? before you know it, we're at the current disastrous state of consoles where it's $60/game. honestly, shc is totally worth the price, and i'm sure if i buckle and buy hook champ, i'll think that was worth the price as well. the thing is, someones gotta complain about rising prices or else everyone just eats is up and does what they're told because they don't want people on the 'net calling them cheap or flaming them for questioning business choices.
Oh. Well, I guess it explains why I had the incentive to jump off the cliff to the left when I tried that level again
How does all this work if you have to reinstall the game next month for example? Will Open Feint remember everything?
