If you actually gave Hook Champ a chance and still didn't like it, you probably won't love this one either. Otherwise it's fantastic.
Just wanted to say, thank you Kepa, this is the game I have been waiting for. Absolutely gorgeous, love the look and feel of the game. This surpasses Hook Champ in every way. Great work and well worth the wait.
OK, so due to all the hype, I thought I'd give this game a download. Wow, grammar mistake on the very first gameplay screen! Is this the attention to detail I should expect throughout? Playing the very first level, I see this dialog: "I should probably climb out of by walking to the right..."
Alot of games can be ruined by grammar mistakes.. Like, you can telll wheather they've really checked thorugh it etc.
Wow, I never saw that text during the beta... I don't think anybody ever thought to start the tutorial and then put down the game for 30 seconds rather than immediately pressing the arrow button with a giant finger tapping on it...
Yeah you have a point, although some of my favourite games of all time have dreadful Engrish and grammar mistakes. Anyway SQH's quality isn't determined by that one error, which will likely be fixed in a few days now you've pointed it out
Just popping in to say SUPER congratulations on launching Super Quickhook, Kepa and co. Can't wait to see what you do with it now that you have the modularity (word?) you wished you'd had in Hook Champ. Well done!

Game Impressions this game is awesome! i just beat global 4. in the first level. but there was no achievement or anything (yes i bought the crown for beeing global 5 or better) now i am worried about, if i lost my savefile, because the ipod or something crash anytime (and yes, it will!) so, how can i save my results, that i have all my stuff, if i reinstall the game or something else? i do not want to beat the global 5 again, to re-earn my crown so..dear developers: thx for this GREAT! game! i leaved a review in the appstore a few hours ago (german appstore) can you give me an answer, how i do not lose my scores/crown? i don't care about that i'm global 5, i just want to collect ALL hats and achievemnts
Is there any chance of having an option in the settings where we can disable the checkpoints? One of my favorite aspects of HookChamp was how old school difficult it was. Dying and starting from the beginning again. Restarting from the frequent checkpoints makes it too easy for my tastes. Also, any chance of getting the quirky intro level dialog back from Hook Champ? That was another one of my favorite parts. Still great Update/Release.
You can always hit pause -> retry when you die/fall, it is quick, and better get used to it since I think in the future that'll be the only way to beat the highscores.
