I tried to look at that last night but maybe that is my problem. I just redid a level and my time updated. So it is a combination of time/coins?

There we go. :) Moved my way up to #4 on Sunset Path.

Kepa, I didn't think this game could top Hook Champ, but it's brilliant. The physics were a little tougher for me to learn, but damn, this game MOVES. I think Rocketcat is the new Sega in terms of 16-bit graphical prowess and speed.

Yup. Coins play a big part in your score.

Super Quickhook does not make for a Super Quick dump. I sat there so long my legs fell asleep!

Anyway, I'm probably one of very few who missed the Hook Champ boat. So I've got a slight learning curve here with SQH, but I'm starting to get the hang of it and really enjoying it. Look for me way down in the 500-750 ranks

I'm using a second-gen iPod touch, and everything's smooth for me. Even a little smoother than hook champ, might I add.

    Meadow Pass Glitch

I'm not sure if anyone else has posted this glitch, and I don't have the time to read back through almost 40 pages of replies so sorry if this is already known.

Also, this glitch pertains to the Meadow Pass secrets, so...

    *minor spoiler warning*

On my 3rd gen touch I initially found Meadow Pass's second secret, the piece of meat. Later on when I found the first one, the hidden meadow, I got the achievement but the secret didn't register. My level progress still says 1/2 secrets found and I can't get the gold emblem. So I fired up my iPad copy of the game and went through the level again really fast, but this time I made sure to get the hidden meadow first and the meat second. Once again, my secrets are stuck at 1/2. Has anybody else encountered this problem?

I wish I could say the same. Hook Champ was absolutely flawless for me, but SQH slows down when the particles start firing... I have to play the entirety of the lava levels at a noticeably (yet somewhat playable) frame rate.

Awesome sequel kepa. Thanks a lot for listening to the complaints about the trailer and from testers, it really shows.

I just bought this. The game had 110 5 star reviews, including 66 written reviews. That has to be a record! :D

And, to address the questions earlier about the hats, when I started the game I logged into Open Feint. On the menu screen, I got two pop up windows. The first pop up told me I unlocked one hat for being a day one purchaser. The second pop up window told me I had unlocked one hat for being a first weekend purchaser. Both hats appeared in the Shop. Tiny Tophat $55. Rocketcat Mask $1. They were the last two hats on the menu. I know that doesn't fix any issues, but that is how it's supposed to work. :)

Does finding secrets effect your score? I have such a hard time finding the secrets in the first few levels and I can't beat the developer scores assumably because of that. Anyone know where the secrets are in any levels really?

No, only coins and time affect score. In order to beat the developer scores you generally need to make it through the level, grabbing all of the coins, with only a small handful of mistakes. They're not set to be something that every player will easily achieve, but something to work towards over time. Just keep at it, work on improving your technique, and root out all of the hidden coins and you'll be beating them before you know it.
