I bought this yesterday on impulse even though I didn't enjoy hook champ. This is definitely an improvement over hook champ, but I guess it's just not the game for me. I've been playing it, and I keep coming back for more, so maybe it will grow on me.
Yeah, we know about this one. And the related one for beating the same Nightmare 4 times. It's on the list of stuff to fix for update 1, which we're trying to submit tomorrow. We're not getting rid of the Get 2000 in Avalanche requirement, but we are changing what the requirement does. Instead of needing to beat all dev scores in earlier levels to beat the Nightmare levels, you'll just need to get 2000 in Avalanche. Dev scores will then just be used to unlock extra loot (and a super show-off character), as we add them, which is a big reason why we need to fix the above bug. #8 in Top Paid Apps! Maybe, juuuuust maybe, we can dethrone FatBooth? Ever since I was a child, I wanted to topple FatBooth. Not sure if we can do it, though, considering the huge fan base of FatBooth.
I could be totally wrong here in your specific situation, but I've heard actually buying Super Quickhook will get it to work!
i've got a question: is there a possibility to get my savegame back (with all hats, scores and achievemnts), if i delete and re-install the game? and i've got a snd question: i'll tried forever beating the silver level in "the forbidden hats" - hook champ (one of my fav games!) i have taken hookbot, but i can't beat this level. i think it's impossible with him. which char i have to chose? if you want, you can answer me with PM, because i can't read all the postings. there are to much
This game is already kicking ass on the overall top 50, as I had a feeling it would. I'm terrible at it so far, but am enjoying it!
Okay, so I decided to topple the first three nightmare levels before beating those last three developer scores and holy crap, I can barely beat the level let alone the score!
Oh whoops... the Avalanche requirements are asking for you to get that score, aren't they? I thought they were talking about the distance Is there an easy way to find paths that will lead to coins in Avalanche mode?
Stalactites mean slide, stalagmites mean rocket jump. Also, watch the pedometer for when it updates the total number of coins.
well i got pulled over for doing 34 in a 25, while the cop was running my license i pulled out SQH and when he walked up to my car, looked in and said is that SQH? i said yes and he pulled out his phone, and behold he too bought the game, we started comparing scores and since he had a MUCH better avalanche score than me he said he would give me a break. this is an official check in the WIN column .
I honestly don't think I would be cool enough to pull out my phone and play a game while a cop was checking my license! but mabe that's my natural guilt kickng in!
Only Jake can beat the Silver Level in Forbidden Hats for Hook Champ. It's be design. Good luck! You can't get your savegame back, yet. We're adding OpenFeint save backups/restores in the first update. It's kind of bad timing considering the new iPhone coming out, but you can just transfer your save from your old device or whatever as soon as the update hits. I liked the story of this. That's how you can tell your game is popular (circumventing the law).
