That and it is an exploration/hooking game, not just a racing game.

I don't stop playing a level until I get silver on it (reach dev score and collect all coins). I then go back later and find all secrets :) Only have gold on 2 of my 11 unlocked, but silver on the rest (and bronze on Avalanche :x).

I'm enjoying playing this on my iPhone 4 100x more than I was on my 3G. I think I was suffering from lag issues which is why I was struggling with the controls. On the more powerful 4 it feels a lot smoother, and a lot more like Hook Champ.

Hope the forthcoming updates bring a load of new hats. We need more of the quirky Hook Champ humor, the SQH hats are a little too conventional for my tastes. :)

I'm with you... more quirky hats please!

I absolutely love this game. For me everything is pretty spot on. I actually don't mind having to beat some of the developer's scores to advance. I don't like to unlock everything immediately and I play my way slowly through each level trying to get at least silver before trying the next level. So it suits me just fine. Also happy that I can play it on my 1G Touch with no lag!

Why are people always complaining about lag? It's silky smooth on my iPod 2nd Gen

Because there is lag. ;). I'm playing on a 3GS, and every so often I get a very brief lag spike -- basically there is a very brief pause, but long enough that it screws my run up. I had the same issue in HC. Unfortunately, it is hard to categorize.

For the most part, I have no other problems, and the game runs great!
