Not sure if it's beatable in a few hours, but even if that's the case, it's ok by us. That's longer than a lot of games on XBLA/PSN :)

I'm planning on playing in short spans, if possible. Luckily, I have limited free time, so that works out pretty well. And even if I do "win" in a short time, you can bet I will be revisiting the game often to dig out anything I may have missed. I replay my favorites fairly regularly, so, that works for me. It's not always about the length of the game. To me, it's what you take away from the experience. I've played 2 minute games that have had a more memorable and lasting impact than 40 hour games.

Boy, if this game is as good as I think it will be, and if it does well enough, lets HOPE there is more! I'm all for further creative efforts from any of the fine folks of the S&S team.

P.S. Uh oh. It looks like Eli is uploading his TA S&S preview to YouTube. Close your eyes everyone! ;)

I read the preview and watched the video. Thankfully, there's nothing too telling; it just whet the appetite for Wednesday night a bit more :D. So glad you enjoyed the game Eli! I'm quite interested to find out just how the musical puzzles are going to play out. This game continues to look more fantastic every time I see something new.

The temptation to read that article is brutal.

    I'm not looking.

Not looking at twitter stuff about Sworcery either.

Don't want to see any screenshots...or highlights.

I know almost nothing about what's in the game :)

That it does! I stopped looking at that page cause I was getting fed up of all the whining cheapskates with their android phones begging for a release, I'm gonna go back and let them all know just how cool this is on Thursday though cause I'm nice like that!

I just noticed you've written 89 messages on TouchArcade since Nov 2010 and every single one of them is in the 'Sword & Sworcery' threads.

Given your focus on this game...and the huge amount of praise you've expressed for it...plus the recent comments about the importance of Social networking for the success of the game... I have to ask: Are you a real person, or a marketing strategy?

I'm jot going to fault Eric. I don't think he's a marketing ploy. Hell, S&S was the reason I joined here, I just get easily distracted :)

But I hazard to think Eric is real. A real human live person flesh thing. The team has been pretty damn transparent from the get go. And this is a project that attracts addicts. Like me.

    Hi. I'm nick, and I am a S&S addict.

Haha! Bingo. Hi Nick! I'm likewise. ;)

I lurked the TA boards for quite a while before joining. And yeah, S&S was the reason I joined, too.

Haha! I'm surely guilty of pimping the hell out of S&S, no doubt about that. Why? Like I've said before, if this game does well, we are more likely to see more of its ilk. I like blowing shit up now and then, but I think that more games like S&S would be a good thing for this wacky industry. And I'm definitely interested in seeing what the Capy crew, Superbrothers, or Jim come up with next.

Can't believe we will be playing this thing tonight! The wait is finally coming to a close.

Hey, lets all remember to be mindful of the iPhone owners today / tonight / tomorrow. While us lucky iPad owners get to play today, they will still be waiting a month. So, while I would fully encourage everyone to sing praises here on the boards, make sure to tag your posts with SPOILERS or something if it contains such. I sure as hell wouldn't want anyone ruining the experience for me! ;)

I too cant believe the wait is finally gonna be over! It's been a monumental struggle to not read any of the previews so I can go into this fresh knowing virtually nothing but somehow i've managed it!

Likewise, those of you that have New Zealand accounts please dont post any spoilers as those of us in the UK will be waiting till midnight tonight before we even download it let alone play it, (more than likely on the bus on the way to work for me tomorrow!) annoyingly it's my day off today and here I am wishing it away just so i can finally download and play this!

Hmmm... Lots of NZ releases are showing up on the forum. S&S obviously isn't. That would be a bummer :(
