Latest news Capy's iOS title Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP has maintained its approximate iPad release date of "vernal equinox" (March 21) and now we have further audio and iPhone launch details. Capy's Nathan Vella told us at PAX East that two weeks after the iPad launch that the company will release a vinyl LP of the game's music (at Bandcamp). Don't worry if the words "vinyl LP" don't mean a thing to you, the music will also be available at iTunes. The iPhone version will launch "a month" after the iPad version (or two weeks after the LP, depending on how you want to tell time). The only difference between the iPad and iPhone versions will be the resolution and a couple dollars in price. From joystiq
Careful with your expectations. Remember, "around" the vernal equinox. My guess is actually for next Thursday. Still stoked as hell for whichever day it is.

Yeah, believe me, I really hope it is very soon. It would be really awesome if they could launch it on the vernal equinox. But you have Capy chastising Pocket Gamer for running with the "on March 21st" (which others then started running with, talk about a PR headache), plus no news sites have put up their previews yet, plus no approval from Apple yet (though it has been submitted). Nah, unfortunately I'm not seeing the 21st in the cards here. But you never know! Maybe...
I suspect he'd like to say the exact date, to tie in with the moon, but because they can't control the App Store approval / release process, they can't make that exact commitment, I guess.
I'm hoping apple realises not only that they have something very special on their hands here but also the significance of the lunar cycle to this game and also it's release! Hey we all have to have dreams right?
No doubt they are doing everything humanly possible to get it out the door ASAP, but it's largely out of their hands with Apple. And yes, coinciding exactly with equinox would be awesome! I'm just worried that people will freak out if the 21st comes and goes with no release, due to all the incorrect coverage that started floating around. It's not Capys fault that other people jumped the gun.

I think something is being announced tonight, as today marks the "supermoon". I'm not sure what exactly might be announced. Great, I'll be checking for a teletex every five minutes. As the release draws closer, it fees as though time is moving ever more slowly. I'm going to go watch the audience calibration procedure for the millionth time. I'm pretty sure I'm calibrated by now though.
