I am back again! haha, I really love puzzles.
I tried solving it with a logic method. Not too sure how to explain my thoughts in words but i tried...

  4. Kzwen,
You solved my last puzzle much faster than I expected. You're making me work too hard coming up with new puzzles ! Fortunately, I'm up for the challenge.
I just wanted to let you know that the picture that you posted doesn't show up. I can't see it. But I'm going to guess that it is not correct because it IS possible to logically derive the solution without guessing and that is the only solution I will accept.

    Perhaps some hints? ;)

  6. No hint for you!

For some reason, I can't see your picture Kzven and your link doesn't work on my computer. Strange.

I can't give you a hint. Anything I say would give away too much. I know that this is a strange kind of logic puzzle that some might not be used to so if no one can solve it in a few days, I'll post the solution and upload a new puzzle.

Anna has dinner with Carl 1st, Dan 2nd, and Bob 3rd.

    Here's my chickenscratch logic...
Tracking Diana/Briana relations in regard to clue 6 barring husbands during week 2/3 for that coupling which narrows down Anna/Ciny coupling options those weeks and illuminates the first according to clue 7. I worked backwards assuming clue 7 referred to week 3 since clue 6 and marriage restricts other couplings at that time.

    First Week
Anna & Carl (not Bob due to third week, nor abe due to marriage so must be Dan or Carl but week 2 logic requires Carl)
Cindy & Bob (not Carl due to marriage not dan due to third week so must be Bob or Abe but clue 5 rules our Abe)
Briana & Dan (not Abe due to third week not Carl due to second week not Bob due to marriage so must be Dan)
Diana & Abe (not Dan due to marriage nor Carl due to third week so must be Bob or Abe but due to third week logic involving Anna & Dan must be Abe)

    Second week
Anna & Dan (not abe due to marriage nor Bob due to third week so must be carl or dan but not Carl due to third week clue 6 so must be Dan)
Cindy & Abe (not carl due to marriage nor Dan due to third week so must be Abe or Bob but clue 5 rules our Abe for week 1 so must be Abe here)
    Briana & Carl
Diana & Bob (not dan due to marriage nor carl due to third week clue 6 so must be bob or abe but due to above logic must be Bob)

Anna third with Bob(narrowed down to Bob because marriage bars Abe and clue 7 along with clue 6 diana/briana options leaves requires only Bob first)
    - Cindy & Dan (can't be Abe due to clue 5 nor Carl due to marriage so must be Bob or Dan and clue 7 indicates Dan)
    - Briana & Abe
    - Diana & Carl (can't be bob or dan due to marraiage to diana and briana invalid with clue 6 so due to clue 7 anna must see bob first so Diana must see Carl or Abe first leaving carl or abe for second/third week combo)

  9. First of all, let me say that I realize now that there are two correct answers and I'll accept any one of them.

And here's a hint. Use a 4 by 4 chart with the Men 's names along the horizontal axis and the women's names along the vertical axis. In the 16 boxes, you write the number of the week. This is what makes it different than a normal logic puzzle--it doesn't use just X's and O's. It is in ternary.

Anna has dinner with Carl 1st, Dan 2nd, and Bob 3rd... bumping for my edit with logic in post #8...

  11. Revised the question

To be honest, I'm having a hard time following your logic in post #8, but I'll send you a promotional code for Block the Laser anyway.

I have changed the puzzle question. It now asks who had diner with who on the second weekend? And now there is only one solution instead of two.

I apologize for rephrasing my question for the 2nd time. I had the same problem with the Osama Bin Laden Puzzle simple because your imput often helps me realize how to improve the puzzle.
