Definitely help the debs out by doing this! Some people get games just cause they are free and if they don't like rougelikes they might end up rating it low. As if it's the devs fault those jerks have bad taste, haha

JUST bought this at full price and it doesn't bother me that it's free today. Get this app free or not!!!
The dark side of freebies: Even people, who would never buy this game (not their genre, taste etc.) get it now and give a bad rating after 1 min of messing around with the app. It's like me going to the movie Sex And The City, because of being invited and then ranting all the time. And since this is really a very specific genre not for everybody, you get a lot of these guys, who simply don't get it. Wondering why it's not the latest first person 3D stuff Hope the bad ratings won't overshadow this masterpiece.
Ok so I gues Im one of those people who don't " get" the game. Like what's the point and objective if the game? All I've done so far is go from one dungeon to another finding the stairs. Is that it? Btw I left a 5 star review anyways
Picked it up, this isn't the kind of game I would have normally bought, but I am having fun. Giving this type of game away free is definitely a risky move, a lot of people who have 0 interest in the genre will probably download it, play it 2 minutes than give it one star. Hopefully, I'm wrong and your generousness will pay off for you and you won't get hammered with negative reviews.

Well we have plans for other Fargoal games and stuff, so it's nice that everyone can now *know* about the game. That's really the main thing here! Sure, it's not everyone's kind of game, but if those who never knew about it and now get it for free and enjoy it, then our goal is accomplished. BTW we've hit the top 100 of ALL free apps in the US store now. P.S. Listen to the mime! He knows what he's talking about.
Newbie here. I'm on level 2 of a dungeon and no sword and no stairs down that I can find. I need to get to level 20? Are stairs sometimes in hidden rooms? Do stairs show on the map if I defog them?

Newbie rpg player of sorts and shied from these games from previous experience in lack of depth, etc but I gave this game a try and glad to say I've found this game very appealing to me and fun game to play. Never would have found this game to be so good if not for it being free. Thanks!
