I think it controls far better with analogue stick than the touch screen but your entitled to you're opinion. Crimson Gem is another that is rubbish on IOS compared to the PSP version. ;)

Yes I'm sure the extra price pays a large part although the maximum price I've seen a psp game lately even new titles is about £25 and probably less from PSN.

Current Amazon.com price for GTA:CW PSP is $17.40 new, $13.40 used. It retails digitally for $19.99. The iOS version has retailed for as little as $4.99. There might times when the PSP or DS version are cheaper, but on average the iOS version is much less expensive.

Not saying that the touchscreen is better: I'm saying that the difference is not that big a deal, because the PSP controls are not that great to begin with. As to CGS, the iOS version has problems; I still enjoyed it more than any other Asian RPG in the App Store (and more than some I played on my PSP and DS). If that's what you call rubbish, then I'd love to go through your bins sometime ;).

For you. Some of us are hardcore touchscreen gamers (yeah, I said that -- deal with it ;)). And some of us find PSP controls to be pretty darn mediocre in general. (Quick example: I found the controls of Aralon to be way better than those of the Lord of Arcana demo. It wasn't even close.).

I really don't understand all the people complaining about Touchscreen controlls. Sure, they won't be perfect for every game, but neither will other controllers be. Generally games with a Dpad and buttons work great on iDevices IMO.

Personally I liked his list. It's a great list of games that I could recommend to most people easily.

GTA is in need of a major update though. Instead of reducing its price, how about updating the game with retina resolution, better than PSP effects, and the missing voices.

I wish gta was cheaper.. Must be pretty good if it's number one. That would be cool if rockstar made a 3d one this year.

Srry about this but i don't know where else to ask it, how do I start new thread?

I played the lite version of CTW, and found the controls to be more than adequate. Unfortunately I haven't bought yet, as I'm waiting for a retina update, but I'm not so sure of the wisdom in that anymore. I figured they remastered it for iPad, a high-res update to the iPhone version was sure to follow. Yet I still wait... I'm beginning to think Rockstar isn't interested in that particular update :/

GTA chinatown wars is a solid game and very deep too. But game of the year , Iam sorry its not. Now if they make the 3D version of GTA , I would pay $20 for that. That said I feel that GTA now is a great buy because
    1) Length= so many missions it will take you a long time to beat the game.
    2) Gameplay= Multiple guns, hand to hand combat,
3)Open Roam= free roaming throughout the whole city

For purist though being that the game is overhead view might complain. Solid game but not game of the year.
