I'm starting to think this game is going to be really shitty. The general combat animation looks alright, but then you realize the combo he's doing is consisting of mashing the attack button while the same attacks are performed in the same pattern over and over again. No thanks, I'm not buying this.
Yeah the repetitive combos were my main gripe with Total Mayhem as well, but if you check out the help section and make sure to mix up your button presses (adding in presses of the jump and web buttons) you can learn to really mix up the combat.
And how much time do you plan on spending on the ground? I don't know about you, but I'm taking to the skies! Can't wait for this, it suffers from the quirks of a sandbox game+the quirks of a mobile game+the quirks of GameLoft, but the overall package will definitely be an enjoyable one.
I think that's more likely the player's lack of experience playing the game, not exactly the game itself.
Yeah, I'm buying it too. I don't know how it can be judged from a separate camera capture anyway. It's like watching a tv on another tv, the picture is always terrible. If that YouTube video was a genuine screen capture, it could be judged better but as it is, nobody can really say it looks terrible or great from that video because the video itself is not exactly of great quality.
I'm so pumped for this game. I'm getting on a plane to new Zealand right now, an ill get the game a day befor you guys get it! Muhahahaha
Interestingly, looks like this is only compatible with 4th grin devices. "iPhone 4, 4s, iPod touch 4, and iPad 2 and 3. Hmm. I guess gameloft is dropping compatibility for 3rd gens and the original iPad.
Yeah, it sucks if it's so... Didn't GTA3 say it only supported 4th gen devices, yet it still runs on 3rd gens?
