How do you know the movie's garbage?? It's not even out yet. Lol.

 

I loved the first Spider-Man trilogy. There was no reason to reboot the series in a "darker" tone just to try and appeal to the Twilight fans.

 

Oh wow! Wasn't expecting a full 3D action game at all! I like what I'm reading!

 

Yes. Spiderman was never a dark superhero. Leave it to batman (whose newer films are excellent, also). But let's not make this a thread about the movie...

full 3D action game basically says paymium...

 

...just like six guns and dungeon hunter were full 3d action freemiums.

 

As was Gameloft's masterpiece - Urban Crime.

 

Tobey Maguire was a crybaby as Peter Parker. I personally didn't really like the first trilogy. Let's see how this one comes out, I can't really judge it until I actually watch the entire film.

You thought so? I thought he was great, just how I always imagined Peter to be. Will be interesting to see how both the movie and the game turn out, personally I don't have high hopes for the film, spiderman isn't a "dark" hero, sorry. As for the game, if it's paymium and an open world to play in and climb around kinda like spiderman 2 (the game) then I'm more pumped for this than dead trigger. GL has done some awesome film tie-ins before such as Tintin, and some bad ones such as iron man. Let's hope for a game more like the former (though not so linear)

 

That got a laugh outta me, lol. Yeah, GL has made some famously bad blunders, most notably their clone of a clone and the ruining of a great diablo "homage".

 

Don't get me wrong, they were good films, just not the Spider-man I was expecting. I'm used to spider always being a smartass

 

Well that's true... But I still can't imagine this being freemium. I gotta good feeling about this game!

And I seem to remember Tobey Maguire's spider-man as being more of an introvert. I also seem to remember them being more focused on the romance aspect of MJ and Pete. And what they did with Venom on the third film was terrible, IMO.

At this point we can only hope...I think it'll probably be paymium but I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm done with GL if they ruin what looks like a great game. Six guns could've been amazing, but they ****ed it up so bad. Same with DH3. Urban crime, well...that was a good laugh.

Yeah I'm using the app too. Hope they update it soon. I hear ya about the 3rd movie, it wasn't all that great. The first two were, though. I just wish they would let the series rest in peace.

Just found that on a German website. There are also first screens for Asphalt 7, The Amazing Spiderman and two other forthcoming titles from Gameloft.

Hmm it seems that The Amazing Spiderman will be released on 28th June
