I'm looking forward to that update. Will you know when it is in for review? That would at least let me know about how much longer before I can dig into this since I want the other controls. It sounded like some of y'all devs are getting a bit frustrated with the profits thus far from the game (I read the comments on the IAP patent law suits going around). Think of it this way, the game may have officially launched but for the main consumers it really launches after the updated controls are out. So what has happened during this middle time is nothing to start freaking out over yet. So chill. I think once this controls hit and people dig into this you'll have a surge of sales. It's too bad this couldn't have happened to begin with, but consider this a lesson learned the hard way. There's no reason to take any drastic measures yet.
"Losing my cool" is not equivocal to "becoming incredibly British and cutting in the face of insurmountable stupidity" I know, to a greater extent than critics, how much time and work and talent went into this title, indeed most titles I compose for. To see months and months of effort rendered thoughtlessly down to "controls suck. Looks ok. Mario clone." is genuinely enraging. Similarly, a game I've beta tested for six weeks, that I know to be great, will come out and have an instant core of response thus: "Gamesalad? Is it Gamesalad? Kill it. Kill the thing with sticks. Don't play it. Just judge, judge your black and weeping hearts upon it." Devs are obliged to respond well to criticism, as even really negative stuff means the game is at least bought and played. But I just see awesome people who do things I never could receiving - sometimes - quasi-abusive and thoughtless feedback. Not just TOB, btw. I'd prefer that people didn't think "TOB devteam are cool! Their composer is an idiot!" but sometimes...
Wait, you're the composer? *duh moment* Dude, you gotta get the OST up on bandcamp or something, it's really good. I was very sad when I poked around in the game files and didn't find any music MP3s.
It's in Apple's hands at this point. Looking at how long it usually takes for them to approve updates/submissions I would say it could be here Friday/Saturday.
Ill bet your craving it Good to see this still at the top bruv... Update will bring good things Daniel
Wow. This guy wins my contest for 'Stupidest Post of the Month'! Yeah, can't ever forget they're out there! In this case, WAY out there..... (trying to be nice..)
Hold up gang! Your interest in my music is making me smile for sure. Look: However it's not online yet. Two hours maybe. Currently track 4 of 17 uploaded. Rest assured I will let you all know every five minutes as soon as its available!
How about this: when it's uploaded I'll have it at some crazy reduced price for a couple hours so everyone here can get their fill that for inexplicable reasons wishes to, then I'll make it full (though still cheap) price?
I want everyone to think I'm as nice and user-friendly as the devs, even though my blood is ice water and my heart is a cash register. I WILL CUT YOU But only a bit
