I have used those snap on triggers buddy, they snap in half after a while. I do like the triggers on the DS3, just saying that they could be better. Most people that do prefer the 360 pad, prefer it due to the trigger.
Odd. I have owned those triggers since I first got my PS3 (hate the stock triggers) and they have never popped off for me. I have even removed them to put them on another controller a couple times back and forth while the other was charging and they still work just fine. Which is peculiar considering they are made by Pelican. But they work lol
What are you talking about? The new Xbox controller isn't even brand new, they just changed the color and tried fixing the d-pad, and the PS3 already got a new design, why would they make ANOTHER redesign?
Lets hope the PS4 comes out before the Xbox 720, because that was one of the main factors that killed PS3 when it started out. That and the price. If Sony gets those right and keep ahead of Microsoft, they'll have the best console of that gen award. Unless Nintendo uses their brain and scraps the Wii 2 or Wii HD and makes a GOOD console, otherwise, Nintendo might be eliminated from the gaming market, because who in the right mind would buy a Wii 2 or Wii HD? After the crap that was the Wii, nobody, they have a ton of money but, they aren't being smart anymore. Scrap motion controls and 3D and you're good to go Sorry, I tend to ramble on and on about stuff
Well the Wii was pretty successful, which is a shame because I agree that it's a shit console. I'm sure Nintendo will just make a new Wii similar to the old one. I can't wait to see what Sony and Microsoft make next. I hope they don't get too focused on 3D games for their next consoles (pun unintended). I don't care for the 3D effect at this current stage in time, I just want super sharp detailed graphics, more similar to PC games.

Well, perhaps nobody who resides in the hardcore-gaming-oriented camp, but you're forgetting the slew of soccer moms and grandmas that bought millions of Wii systems. The Wii was not a flop by any kind of stretch; its success is the reason why Sony and Microsoft are looking toward motion control. It's what worked for Nintendo, so they figure it will work for them. The problem is that now everyone's stuck on this motion control hook thanks to the female population of the world buying three systems apiece. A Wii 2 or a Wii HD would likely turn out to be insanely popular, especially if Nintendo follows its previous strategy of cutting support for last-gen systems and releases game updates for things like Wii Fit and Wii Sports, attracting all the women to the great estrogen palace that has become the Nintendo section of the gaming aisle. I'm not happy about it, either, but motion control is going to stick around for a long time.
Totally would but the HDMI ports are shot on my TV. So I can only play with component or RCA cables, and currently my PS3 RCA cables are missing. Boo. I should have some by next paycheck though. I miss HDMI so bad

Nintendo has been down the same road sony doing. hum... i wonder what you call ps move? a bit of a rip of of motion controls? i wonder. 3d is at the point only a handheld console won't got 3d so don't even get that idea. it can't work as many people do not have 3d tv's. its a shame people are upset over a good company winning the console wars. why would you not want them to make money and win and stay in the market?

The Wii was a bad idea in the first place, it was original, but they should have stuck to what WORKS. Eyetoy (PS2) - original Wii - original idea PS Move - half original and half ripoff (Eyetoy + Wii) which improved on everything about the Wii Kinect - ripoff of Eyetoy 3D is still cool, but I don't see why people are saying it's bad, it's pretty cool if you've seen the 3D on the Sony Bravias And I never said that I WANTED Nintendo to leave the market, I said if they don't make a u-turn and find the road Sony and MS are on, they're going to hit a dead end (ie: they're done) The only great games are 1st party games, with the exception of a few gems. A Wii HD would be fine, I'm saying it wouldn't sell, Nintendo WAS awesome, now, not so much. Motion is going to fail, it is not the future, after work I want to sit and relax and play a game of Bad Company 2, not moving all over the place. I love this reason. "I got mo' money than you! therefore I am superior". It's the whole basis of rap these days. Many of the games on the Wii are just motion gimmicks. Not fun to play, no one cares beyond the "wow motion!!!", which wears off really fast. The Wii does have some nice games but 1) not all of them even use the motion sensing. 2) They're sequels/series already started from previous Nintendo consoles, guaranteed success. 3) Honestly, many don't stand up to PS3/360 exclusive games. Microsoft and Sony trying to cash in with motion sensing is not going to go well. 360/PS3 owners are not as casual as Nintendo Gamers. You really can't make a hardcore game with motion sensing. I'm not going to be the idiot standing in my living room swinging my remote around trying to play Call of Duty with motion controls.
+1, I personally am sick of the overweight, middle aged plumber and the monkey who wears a tie, and the fat pink glob with feet, and the green kid, etc. Franchises like inFamous, Uncharted, Bioshock, Halo (woops, not anymore ), Gears of War, LittleBigPlanet, etc.
