Getting kinda bored of GearZzz. The formula doesn't change enough between iterations, the campaign is only good for a single playthrough and the multiplayer flat out sucks. That first run is decent, but the game is definitely not a long-term investment. Kinda similar to Uncharted in a way, only Uncharted's single player is just so much better.
I hate to ramble on about a 360 game in the PS3 thread, but I'm excited for Gears 3 multi. Finally adding dedicated servers to the game so there isn't enough lag to be completely game-breaking (if any noticeable lag at all), and a four-player co-op campaign that's looking pretty good to me. Maybe my Microsoft fan deep inside is speaking for me right now, but I'm interested to see what happens.
Have you even played the mutliplayer? Dedicated servers is gonna be awesome. I can't wait for lag-free games. Hopefully they remove bots, too, more annoying than useful.
Uum, you sure? Uncharted and Mass Effect are basically the 2 best franchises so far this gen. And we get Uncharted 3 and Mass Effect 3. You only get Mass Effect 3. Anyway, one exclusive can't stand up to 10+. Even if it is Gears, plus, Killzone 3 looks better than Gears 3.
Of course I have, ridiculous question. You don't buy a 360 and 50 games and then not play any online. Perhaps if it hadn't sucked I'd still be wasting my money on a gold subscription.

you have no Gears therefor your argument is invalid, Uncharted's campaign may be better (but not those shitty assassinations or close up take downs) but Gears will always win in MP and Co-op plus graphics oh man you got me there *shivers*
Gears really is not that fun and it most certainly does not beat uncharted in graphics. It's just a bunch of ex-linemen who took steroids and grunt a lot.
