no offence, but you all seem pretty weak. or maybe im just ridiculously over powered. heres what i did:[you need at least HOL1&2 and you need to have gotten to mithria(which is actually possible for even low level characters. just get to anestors bay east shore or maybe pinegate west shore and use town portal. worked for me.)] 1.pay the sailor in mithrias port to take you to luko tainted blood(you must have mark and recall and have somewhere in freymore marked!!!there is no way to get out of hol1&2 otherwise! even if you have marked, save before doing this.) in front of you you there should be an npc called agent kolobok. talk to him if you want, but the important thing is that next to him is a sword. the doughfoot sword. it will be the best melee weapon until probobly level 35, SO PICK IT UP! 2. for unlimited gold have the sailor take you to lukomorye. exsplore this slan, there is a lot of good gear lying around. when you find polina the fisher girl talk to her. ask about caviar. she will sell it to you for 50 gold each. however you can sell it to inkeepers for 300 gold each. buy lots sell lots, bam you're rich! note: if you have HOL3&4, or MH or EFE im sure theyll have even more powerful items scattered around at startup.
The problem is that this makes you extremely overpowered. Many people, myself included, like to play through the expansions in order, without visiting the later expansions until they're supposed to.
replacing lost xp points Hello all, I am in a dungeon that when I get hit by a ghoul it says "236 xp lost, they can be regained somehow" how do I regain them? thanks!
You can't get the xp back until you reach the first Hero of Lukomorye expansion. There are yellow orbs there that restore it.
That's true, but you can acquire new xp, to compensate for the lost amount. Monsters respawn if you don't go to their area for at least a week in-game time. So you need not worry about this too much. (And if you lose too much xp, you might consider reloading a recent save.)
This feels like a silly question, since I can't find it by Googling which implies that most people don't have it, but... ... how do I get into the Marsh of Reeyk? I've been wandering up and down the edge of the water but I can't find any way through the water to get to the house.
I really want to like this game, I guess I am too much of a newb for it. I even bought all the expansions with hopes of one day getting into it. The problem I have is its so open ended that I have absolutely no idea where to go. I get lost in swamps and run in circles for hours...am I missing something?
Check the maps often - wander about and fill them in. You'll discover all sorts of neat stuff. (And gain items and XP!) I got totally stuck when I started first playing this game - things just got too hard too quickly. Ends up I had missed a few semi-major things by staying on the beaten path too much.
Thank you! I was at my wit's end trying to find a way in from the SW, the NW, and the SE. For some reason going in from the NE didn't occur to me: when I hit the water just north of the east side of the Wall I figured you couldn't go in from the east side at all.
OK, another question: I tried (and failed) to heal the Outcast healer with a homemade potion. So I got a store-bought potion and went back... but the healer no longer gives me the option to give a potion to him. Is there any way to try to heal the outcasts after you've failed the first time?
I believe that "quest" is based off your Heal Magic stat, not what potion you use. The reward is nothing big though, and it's not in your quest log, so I wouldn't worry about it.
The Lord's treasure Hi, I am stuck on Lord Farney's treasure quest, went to see the nogur and he sent me to the jeweller, who sent me back to the nogur, who is now not in his room. I have been back at night a number of times but still no nogur, where do I go from here to get the chest? thanks!
OK, now I cannot find the streetwalker that offers Persuade training, where/who is she? been looking all around...
