Must have had too much catnip to let that happen!!! He wont tell me anything new. Nobody seems to approve the fact that I killed the beast. Did I do something wrong? I killed it using the Sword of God. It was surprisingly easy though...
If u go back a few pages catacomber walked me through the whole process but what I did was talk to the gov then build the bridge then went to the port to talk to mersant. Try page 103 or so.
Damn: "you need the right hammer to fix that old bridge" i thought that would be the redshift hammer from the beasts lair? apparently not. where do i get the right one then?
Lol, it isn't the redshift hammer--you get a hammer (maul actually) from the abbot or the gov depending on whether you choose which end, good or evil. : ) Each of them if you go to talk to them after killing the beast gives you their own special maul whether for good or evil. For example, if you side with the Governor, he'll say: "You've surprised me, Kingdom Agent. I didn't know you had this in you. Don't know if I can trust you either but I'll take a chance! Cross me and you'll be sorry! Take this strong maul now and repair the bridge that used to join Eldfell and Thule in the north. Let the Flesh Eaters cross over! It'll be the fantastic and wonderful beginning of our new partnership of terror! Also, please take this axe as a symbol that you've cut your ties with Mersant. Your future is with me!" And the abbot will give you a similar speech except it will be nicer and sadder, but you hammer out justice. : ) Just go to Eldfell if you get one hammer and go to Thule if you get the other. And now I am going to enjoy my vacation and taunt the sharks. Here, sharkie, sharkie, you wanna nibble catflesh? You never tasted catflesh before? Well you won't now either! Feel my harpoon! Non of the two would approve that i killed the Beast. I only have talk options like before killing the Beast... Did I mess up or might this even be a bug??? Edit: missing you, Catacomber! :'(
Sorry to be posting this so late in the thread, but I keep on going thru the abandoned mine in the abandoned region and I can't open the door at all. People talking about it a couple hundred posts back were talking about how there were ghouls in the cave and how one of them would drop the key to the door, but all I had to fight were a bunch of skeletons and bats, no ghouls to speak of. Help!
I've just bought this game and am loving it, my first WRPG ever Definitely will get the expansion as well when I finish it, thank you guys for the awesome game!
After you kill the beast, if you talk to the abbot, he should give you a choice of siding with him or the governor. Did you get that? He gives you the choice of the good or evil end. Can you tell me what he said or what the gov said? Are you sure you killed the Beast? It shouldn't have been that easy to kill him. What did it look like. (Sorry for asking that but have to check. : )) Back. : ) Didn't meet any sharks but a lot of very small fish who had big eyes and had fun darting about my legs. : ) Captured one who wasn't as fast as his mates and let him go.
